I hope everyone the best in the next year, and for shipping to only get more fun!!! :D
I mean, even if they are going to be unused I can make them if you want (though I don't know the ship names).

I mean, there is the AKA section but I guess I see where you're coming from. It's just that a lot of emoji combos would overlap (heart ones, specifically), hence why I think it's easier to just put them in the AKA section.
If you want, you can list any Clash Royale ships on the fandoms page in the meantime (in order for a fandom to get page there needs to be 5 non-stub ship pages made). Also, peak art!
Hell yes, add anything related to Supercell Games. I have been wanting to make and fix some info on pages for Brawl Stars but haven't got to that yet. It would be nice to see some Clash Royale here as well!
Fishcest...? (Finn x Shrimpo), Monocularcest (Rodger x Ginger), Hackedcest (I'm not sure if AdminVirus would work best for this but sure why not), Pizzacest (Elliot x Pizza Guy), not sure what else I can come up with.
Interesting but that would be hard to document because shipping relies on tags and fic/art sites like AO3 and Pixiv, while rivalries rely on YouTube videos and other social media posts? There is also powerscaling but that would be a little bit different from a full-on rivalry. Though, I personally don't know if something like a Rivalry Fandom Wiki exists out there.
Yeah, I sure wonder what those words could mean... Anyway, thanks for your input! I just wanted to make sure it was fine because dumping everything into the fanon section would look weird, ngl.
I have been thinking about the canon section for the ships for some time as I do have a question. Would it be appropriate to mention the alphas and the betas of the games for any ships that need it? It's just that if anyone here knows anything about the history of the franchise, then they would know that a big reason as to why it's even a thing in the first place is because of its alphas and betas, and some ships (specifically neighbor/theodore peterson x player/nicky) came to popularity during the alphas and betas.
Not mentioning these would not give the full picture and context to the ships history but I don't know if mentioning content that isn't finished product is appropriate in the canon section. Would I just have to dump everything regarding the alphas and betas to the trivia and the fanon sections, in case it's not acceptable to put information regarding the alphas and betas to the canon section? Or to the Behind the Scenes perhaps? I don't know.
Put a full stop after saying what Eclipses ability boosts (put it before "Currently they have 1 interaction"), also words such as interaction and event/non-event shouldn't be capitalised unless the sentence starts with that word (though, toons needs to be capitalised). Otherwise, all good!
You look how other pages are formatted and take some inspiration from them (no, not outright copying it or copy pasting the words, just seeing how others do it) and apply the information you got to your pages. Just try to get 20 sentences between the fanon and canon sections, everything else like trivia or miscalleneous information can be added later. If it's hard to write in the fanon section, just remember that you can write about why people ship something, any kind of theories, and, if it's a rarepair, the origins of the ship (AdYor is a good example of this).
Meh, depends. If AdminVirus is used more often in general then just move it to that (because if it's used more on TikTok than 1xshed, and is just as equally used on Twitter then on average it should be more used than 1xshed).
I guess the only way to go about this is to try to get the fanon section to like 10-15 sentences because otherwise it seems very strange to put the songs into the fanon section. You could, however, mention the impacts that the songs had on the viewing of a certain relationship.
For example, Mesmerizer for TetoMiku. Currently, the song itself is just described and the potential themes of it. However, the impacts and how the song has given even more freedom for fans to explore their relationship isn't mentioned at ALL (surprisingly?). What you could do is, move the current text about the song into the "songs" section (because it just talks about the song) and then have a mini section talking about the song in the fanon section, its impacts, the interpretations and various ways fans have gone about the two because of the song, yada yada. I think this would make the page look more neat but also give even more freedom to talk about the songs without actually hurting the canon section. Idk, that's just how I would do it.
I also don't think the "update" template would be needed for this either way because you could just chose the most popular songs that really gave fans more interpretation on how they can explore a certain ship (for this specifically, if it's a problem, you could have a certain criteria on how a popular song needs to be in order to be able to have a mini section for it in the fanom section, like a certain amount of views or anything else).
(EDIT: I'm so sorry for the amount of words here, my bad)
I don't think there should be any major changes to the actual writing of the page. Just move the songs to a separate "songs" section, and if anything considered "fanon" is in the canon section just move that to fanon. Only thing I would do is talk about this to an admin before doing anything, as to not get banned for "griefing", and then proceed to put all ships as fanon (if they'll obviously give permission).
Also, because the songs would be in a separate category under "songs" there would be no actual need to put the update template for constant updates, as that's usually only needed if the canon or the fanon sections are empty. EZ solution 🤠✌️💯
Agreed. I mean, I understand why the statuses are set the way they are right now, but it also confused me for the longest time as to why it just simply never said 'Fanon' because most songs are pretty much fanmade and not actually made by the companies themselves.
(Okay but now I want to make a set of characters where the canon is actually set by the fans, that would be cool).
I feel like I would've voted either for Symbolism and Parallel, or AU only because of what my selfcest OCs go through but Zero Differences/Literally You takes my heart.
Also, would slightly different circumstances count as "Literally You", "Symbolism and Parallel?" or "AU"? (Like, the characters exist in the same place but have gone through slightly, just slightly, different events in their lives. What would that count because I'm actually not certain where my OCs stand)
Yeah, I don't think that is allowed either. No matter how much humanity wants to associate certain characteristics with only one group of people and put them into boxes based on said traits as to push us around and force certain roles, activities and classes on us in order for society to exist in a constant cycle of abuse based on ones identity and biology, Teto is still not a woman or a man solely based on the creators words. Unless someone has a compelling argument as to why her ships should be in het/femslash, I don't think the ship types are going to change.
(EDIT: I forgor "not")
Time to take a selfie 😰✌
You need to document Yi Xi's ships, I believe in you.
That seems to be the case, at least for now (well in this poll for sure, otherwise I think a lot of people would agree with you).
