Both Saber Rider and the Star Sheriff and Virtua Fighter anime Series have female characters in a love interest/crush for another character from the beginning but didn't last long like other anime series do because they don't match each other well and why the Japanese writers decided to have them fall in love with someone else.

In Saber Rider and the Star Sheriff, April Eagle the genius engineer the Ramrod and part of the team had a love interest with Saber Rider. However Saber Rider is always oblivious despite that he's the leader of the team and never notice April's feelings for him.

In one episode "The Highlanders" Saber Rider is called back home by his parents in Scotland and April decided comes along to help him. While at the same time hope to get Saber Riders to notice her feelings for him but he still continued to fail to notice April's feelings for him in the rest of the episode.

Later halfway in the series April starts to have feelings/ relationship with Fireball instead which Fireball feels the same way during the search for her father Commander Eagle.

In "Cease Fire" after Ramrod was destroyed by Jesse Blue's false conditions for a peace treaty in the later episode April and Fireball begin to have feelings for each other.

In the scene were they race together in the beach while starting to hold hands before fall down laughing as they looked at each before starting to chase each other again.

In the final four episodes Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs have defeated and sent Nemesis and Jesse Blue back to the Vapor Zone. In the final scene shown April and Fireball looking happy as they still looking forward to the future together as official couples.

In the very first season of the Virtua Fighter anime series, there was initially a love triangle between Akira Yuki, Pai Chan, and Sarah Bryant in episodes three, five, and six which didn't last long like other anime series do.

From the beginning Sarah Bryant once had a crush on Akira (which didn't last long) but later completely forget about it after meeting Kage-Maru (kidnapped). I guess Sarah Bryant had a crush on Akira for all the wrong reason which is why the Japanese Writers have decided to have her fall in love with someone else like Kage-Maru.

"In the Shadow of Battle" Jacky and Sarah's parents appeared at the party even though Jacky wasn't too happy to see his parents again especially his father the most but Sarah was. Their father commented how grown up and very beautiful Sarah is while asking if she had found herself a nice young man which she hasn't answered that yet because at the time she had a crush on Akira. But that was a hint that Sarah will unexpectedly meet Kage- Maru later the same episode.

Kage-Maru sabotage Jacky’s car and lure Sarah away from Pai and Akira while using the sleeping powder to put her asleep and took her away in his car to the luxuary hotel higher up in the next episode "The Destined Twosome."

Thanks to Alexander who woke up Sarah to find herself at the hotel and tries to get away, but finds out that she is several stories high on a skyscraper and falls during a little fight between her with Kage-Maru.

After using his ninja skills to save Sarah that she had notice that Kage-Maru's arm was cut and in serious pain that Sarh in her kind heart used her ribbon to bandages his arm.

There is a little romance scenes between Sarah Bryant and Kage-Maru.

Kage-Maru: "Why?"

Sarah Bryant: "You... you saved my life."

Kage-Maru: "Yes."

Sarah Bryant: "Who... are you?"

Kage-Maru: "... No one........."

Kage-Maru and Sarah look at each for a moment as it was love at first sight for them until Kage-Maru knocks her out with a sleep needle.

Kage-Maru: "Please forgive me... if I've hurt you.

When Kage-Maru picks up Sarah that he can't help but look at her while carry Sarah back to bed like if he never felt that way with anyone before in his life.

When Eva Durix's helicopter arrive,Kage-Maru changed into his ninja outfit and handed Sarah over to Eva Durix. Despite that Kage-Maru had complete his mission for the Durix Research Centre but was sad to see Sarah go as she was taken away in the Eva Durix's helicopter.

If Kage-Maru had know about Eva Durix's true motive of why she wanted Sarah or had decided to go Durix Research Centre in the first place then he would have realise that he had made the worst mistake of his life.

Which he found that out for himself in "Little Dancer." as Kage-Maru soon deeply regreted for handed Sarah to Eva Durix as he witness her being tortured through the brainwashing machine by Eva Durix while reflect on everything that has happen back then especially not forgetting that it was Sarah who help with his injury in the first place.

I imagation that Kage-Maru will also realise that this whole thing is really his fault for being blinded by his Hagakure clan's tradition as a mercenary and following his order from every employer that he was hired by that he already had harm so many people without realising it.

In "Sea Fighter" Kage-Maru can't stand to see Sarah in pain as finally had enough with with being told what to do by anyone, enough with the Hagakure clan's tradition and most of all being a mercenary. That's when Kage-Maru decided it's time to do something what he really should have done a very long time which is to turn back on Hagakure clan's tradition and become his own person, even quit being the spy for the Rafale Corp.

Kage-Maru: "There is a conflict of interest."Caller: "Conflict?"

Kage-Maru: "Yes, I cannot continue."

Caller: "What are you talking?"

Kage-Maru: "I did not agree to any of this, my heart speaks louder than my professional conscience.

"Caller: "I warn you Kage-Maru, you better watch your step.

"Kage-Maru: "I'm sorry but no man controls me, I must follow the voice of my heart!"

Kage-Maru had no regret about his decision however the only one regret that he had was not saving Sarah earlier. Because if he had just rescue her instead investigate on the Durix Research development then Eva wouldn't have successfully brainwashed her into a fighting machine in the first place as he soon found out afterwards.

After learnt that Eva had already brainwashed Sarah that Kage-Maru have to find another way to free her. That's why between episode 18-20 that he decided to allies with Akira and his friends since they have been trying to find Sarah especially your brother Jacky.

Although Kage-Maru must have been aware that neither of them didn't trust him at first, which he dosen’t blame them at all especially after everything that has happen back in Las Vegas. However, Akira did decide to trust Kage-Maru since he realise that he's not the same person who once attacked him from before as he's now starting to see the real Kage-Maru at last. While at the same time return Sarah's ribbon to Jacky as prove that there is still good in your heart Sarah.

In "Brother-Sister Bond." when Kage-Maru witnessing Jacky determined to free you when Eva’s control after the remote control is destroyed by him and when Sarah went out of control.

After Eva Durix destroyed the destroyed castle and manage to swim to safety as Sarah suddenly woke to see Akira, Jacky, Alexander and Kage-Maru (from the Distance).

While Kage-Maru witness Sarah hugging her brother Jacky from the distance that he was very happy to see Sarah return to normal that he finally starting to understand why he had these strange feelings for Sarah as well as the crazy thing Akira said to him about him and Sarah which begins to make sense to him. As Kage-Maru discovered that he had fallen in love with the girl that he once kidnapped before he used his ninja trick to disappeared.

I bet off screen at the end of the episode that while Sarah was hugging Jacky that she notice that the man who once kidnapped her had suddenly disappeared which makes her very sad and disappointed because she really wanted to get to know Kage-Maru properly while hoping to know his name at last. But I would imagation that Akira and Jacky will fill in the details to Sarah while their next misson is to rescue Pai.

In "A Wizard and a Master." during travelling towards the airport and during the flight to Hong Kong to rescue Pai from being forced to marry Liu Kowloon that judging from Sarah's face in the scene that she couldn't stopped thinking about you Kage-Maru and ever wonder that she'll be able to him again.

While at the same time reflect on everything that has happen as Sarah finally decided about her future and finally have the courage to tell Jacky that once they rescued Pai and get back home that she will be planning to go back to school as she needs to find a life of her own while finding her own dream just like Jacky and Akira.

In "Evil City Hong Kong."during the battle around Hong Kong City with the Koenkan from preventing us from rescuing Pai that Sarah decided to take the first step of becoming independent as She suggest to Jacky that it’s better to split up to distracted the other Koenkan while he and Akira head to Koenkan Headquarter.

At first when Sarah was chased and outnumbered by the Koenkan as she though this is the end of me while have no regret about her own decsion until the mysterious shadow biker appeared to save her and to her surprise that mysterious shadow biker revealed to be Kage-Maru.

Kage-Maru did return to save Sarah from the Koenkan gangs and from Sarah's face that she has already recognised the same man who once kidnapped her.

Sarah Bryant: "It's you!"

Kage-Maru: "I've come to help you!"

Sarah Bryant: "Thank you but... but why would you help me?"

Kage-Maru: "It's simple, I've decided to fight for the things that are worth protecting, that's all."

Sarah smiles after hearing this while at the same time happy to see him again and fight by his side. I bet Kage-Maru only said that because he doesn't want to confess his feelings for Sarah just yet.

From both episode 23 and 24 Kage-Maru and Sarah ride on his motorbike to Koenkan Headquarter to help Akira and the others to stopped Eva Durix's evil scheme.

In Season Two of Virtua Fighter there are only two episodes feature a few romantic moment between Sarah and Kage-Maru as it shows that they still have feelings for each other.

In Episode 34 where Kage-Maru saves Sarah from a giant falling steel axe.

Sarah Bryant: "Why do you always…?"

Althought I definately prefer the Italian audio version if the Japnese writers ever thought about used this as an english subtitle instead.

Kage-Maru: "And forever will it be this way, Sarah. I said it once, I have a mission to accomplish, that is to watch over you."

Sarah Bryant: "Kage-Maru..."She notices that he's trigged a trap

Sarah Bryant: "You stepped on something weird! Watch out!"

Sarah saves Kage-Maru from another giant falling steel axe by pushing him aside. Landing on top of him, she smiles and says

Sarah Bryant: "Know what, Kage-Maru? I love to save you too!"

Even though he's wearing his mask, Kage-Maru gives a small laugh, smiles and thanks her.

Kage-Maru: "Hehehe! Thank you."

Sarah Bryant: "We have to hurry up!"

Then in "The Final Battle! Burn Up, Fist of Friendship" when Eva Durix open the trap floor were Sarah is about to fall until Kage-Maru race to save her.

In the same final episode Sarah asked Kage-Maru to take Pai Chan with him in order to save Akira which shown a sign that they're already a couple.

If the Japanese writers weren't planning to make a third season of Virtua Fighter anime then at least make Kage-Maru and Sarah finally confess their love 💖 for each other in this episode at last like do 24 or 26 episodes instead of 11 episodes to give enough time to defeat the Cabal while revealed what the characters have been up to after that like:

Sarah goes back to collage this time Kage-Maru goes with her now that the Hagakure clan are gone as he's planning to live with Sarah in a flat as officially couples while planning to get married very soon. Or at least revive the Virtua Fighter anime series in the future to continue were the story left off from Season Two just like they did for Cardcaptors Clear Cards and Kinnikuman Perfect Origin.

I've already posted this on Tumblr and the Pretty Cure Pairings Wiki (which is not very active) but I wanted to branch out here too. If there is none, my current vote is MepoMipo, and I hope that catches on in the fandom.

As you all know, the BoruSara page has been locked for some time now. What led to the page being locked was a canonical disagreement going on with the editors on the BoruSara page. What led this to happen is that there was an editor who was being very persistent and kept changing BoruSara to be semi-canon with the release of ch.21 of Boruto TBV. And the user kept insisting that it was semi-canon, even as other users kept reverting the semi-canon edit, even as I spoke with the user, and the user still insisted that Sarada had feelings for Boruto, going off on Ch 21 of TBV. This led to the page being locked. I will say that at the time, it wasn't really semi-canon, only up for speculation.

As someone who was following the Boruto TBV story, I was gonna wait until there was a direct official confirmation that Sarada had feelings for Boruto. But with the page being locked, we can only wait and see when it will be unlocked. I can't really say that it will be unlocked, although there seems to be an expiration date for the lock on the page. And if it does get unlocked, I'll return to editing the BoruSara page.

Fourteen years ago, I first thought about shipping a male Pokemon and a female Digimon with each other as a crossover couple. At first, thirteen years ago, I used to think about a male Pokemon having a crush on a female Digimon but then she rejected him for being a Pokemon because she said they were too different, but now, after ten years later (which's from three years ago), I currently think about a female Digimon having a crush on a male Pokemon and trying to get him to like her yet worrying that he'll just reject her for being a Digimon instead of the other way around for a change. This thought's the opposite nowadays.

I love Amepan so much, I am genuinely not normal about them. I used to lowkey not really like it (I kinda forced myself to dislike it ) but I actually can't stop loving the ship. Amepan is so peak, trust I will make an Amepan page soon
