What are characters you are shocked doesn't get much shipping content?

While Virtua Fighter, Street Fighter and Darkstalkers were in the games version from the 90s but they also have their own animated series version. Although Virtua Fighter anime Series is done in Japan while both Street Fighter and Darkstalkers animated series are done in America.

Even though there are some fight and battle scenes from each series however there also have some romance between the two characters who have feelings for each other.

Virtua Fighter-In the very first season of the Virtua Fighter anime series, there was a love triangle between Akira Yuki, Pai Chan, and Sarah Bryant in episodes 3, 5, and 6 which didn't last long.

From the start of the Virtua Fighter anime series Sarah Bryant once had a crush on Akira (which didn't last long) but later completely forget about it after meeting Kage-Maru (kidnapped). I guess Sarah Bryant had a crush on Akira for the wrong reason from the beginning which is why the Japanese Writers have decided to have her fall in love with someone else like Kage-Maru.

As for Kage-Maru, who was never really a villain in the first place since the series began especially that he was a Mercenary hired by someone like Eva Durix to kidnapped Sarah Bryant without not been given any information or why she wants Sarah in the first place.

Kage-Maru sabotage Jacky’s car and lure Sarah away from Pai and Akira while using the sleeping powder to put her asleep and took her away in his car to the luxuary hotel higher up in the next episode "The Destined Twosome."

Thanks to Alexander who woke up Sarah to find herself at the hotel and tries to get away, but finds out that she is several stories high on a skyscraper and falls during a little fight between her with Kage-Maru. After using his ninja skills to save Sarah that she had notice that Kage-Maru's arm was cut and in serious pain that Sarh in her kind heart used her ribbon to bandages his arm.

There is a little romance scenes between Sarah Bryant and Kage-Maru as they look at each for a moment as it was love at first sight for them until Kage-Maru knocks her out with a sleep needle.

When Kage-Maru picks up Sarah that he can't help but look at her while carry Sarah back to bed like if he never felt that way with anyone before in his life. When Eva Durix's helicopter arrive,Kage-Maru changed into his ninja outfit and handed Sarah over to Eva Durix. Despite that Kage-Maru had complete his mission for the Durix Research Centre but was sad to see Sarah go as she was taken away in the Eva Durix's helicopter.

If Kage-Maru had know about Eva Durix's true motive of why she wanted Sarah or had decided to go Durix Research Centre in the first place then he would have realise that he had made the worst mistake of his life.

Which he did in "Little Dancer." as Kage-Maru soon deeply regreted for handed Sarah to Eva Durix as he witness her being tortured through the brainwashing machine by Eva Durix while reflect on everything that has happen back then especially not forgetting that it was Sarah who help with his injury in the first place.

Kage-Maru can't stand to see Sarah in pain as finally had enough with with being told what to do by anyone, enough with the Hagakure clan's tradition and most of all being a mercenary. That's when Kage-Maru decided it's time to do something what he really should have done a very long time which is to turn back on Hagakure clan's tradition and become his own person even if it means to quit being the spy for the Rafale Corp.

Kage-Maru had no regret about his decision however the only one regret that he had was not saving Sarah earlier. Because if he had just rescue her instead investigate on the Durix Research development then Eva wouldn't have successfully brainwashed her into a fighting machine in the first place as he soon found out afterwards. That's why between episode 18-20 he decided to allies with Akira and his friends since they have been trying to find Sarah especially your brother Jacky.

In "Brother-Sister Bond." when Kage-Maru witnessing Jacky determined to free you when Eva’s control after the remote control is destroyed by him and when Sarah went out of control.

After Eva Durix destroyed the destroyed castle and manage to swim to safety as Sarah suddenly woke to see Akira, Jacky, Alexander and Kage-Maru (from the Distance).

While Kage-Maru witness Sarah hugging her brother Jacky from the distance that he was very happy to see Sarah return to normal that he finally starting to understand why he had these strange feelings for Sarah as well as the crazy thing Akira said to him about him and Sarah which begins to make sense to him. As Kage-Maru discovered that he had fallen in love with the girl that he once kidnapped before he used his ninja trick to disappeared.

In "Evil City Hong Kong" Kage-Maru did return to help Sarah to fight off Koenkan gangs and from Sarah's face that she has already recognised the same man who once kidnapped her.

Sarah Bryant: "It's you!"

Kage-Maru: "I've come to help you!"

Sarah Bryant: "Thank you but... but why would you help me?"

Kage-Maru: "It's simple, I've decided to fight for the things that are worth protecting, that's all."

Sarah smiles after hearing this while at the same time happy to see him again and fight by his side. I bet Kage-Maru only said that because he doesn't want to confess his feelings for Sarah yet.

From the very beginning of Virtua Fighter anim series when Akira and Pai Chan first met in "Akira's Hakkyoku-ken"when she was chase by the Koenkan gang and Akira went to rescue her although in a very few episodes they didn't get along with each other because of their personalities but over time they did start to get along even after they met Jacky and Sarah Bryant.

Through out the series while traveling to find Sarah that Akira and Pai were starting to develope their feelings for each others.

In "Brother-Sister Bond." while Akira and Pai had split up from Jacky to find Sarah in the castle that Pai ends up kidnapped by her evil fiancee Liu Kowloon.

After the end of the episode were Sarah is back to normal and reunited with her brother that Akira turn his attention to Pai as he made his new mission to go to Hong Kong to race and save her before she almost got married to Liu Kowloon.

In "Evil City Hong Kong." during the battle around Hong Kong City with the Koenkan from preventing us from rescuing Pai that Sarah suggest to Jacky that it’s better to split up to distracted the other Koenkan while he and Akira head to Koenkan Headquarter which they did.

As Liu Kowloon was about to kiss Pai by force until Akira and Jacky crash the wedding with a police car shortly after Pai race to Akira as she's happy to see him again.

Liu Kowloon then challenges Akira to a fight.

Until Pai's father Lau Chan appears and interrupts the fight to take down Liu Kowloon on himself with the intention of killing him for his betrayal and for using Koenkan to fulfill his greedy ambitions.

In "The Eight Stars." Akira refuses to allow a heartless fighting machine to put all of their training to waste, and remembering his grandfather's words, disables the machine with the Stun Palm of Doom. Eva runs away but the growing flames prevent the others from getting to her as they decided to leave. Eva attempts to retrieve the data to build another Dural but the room explodes and the stairs collapse supposedly assume that she's killed. The fighters are able to escape, with Shun telling Lau to overcome his grief, and Akira continuing his quest to see the eight stars once again.

Even after three years now as young adult, Akira and Pai Chan's personalities remain the same but still developed feelings for each other even more in the Second Season of Virtua Fighter.

Akira and Pai Chan aren't the only characters who have growth and romance development in Season Two because the same goes for Sarah and Kage-Maru. As there are only two episodes feature a few romantic moment between Sarah and Kage-Maru as it shows that they still have feelings for each other.

In Episode 34 where Kage-Maru saves Sarah from a giant falling steel axe and Sarah did the same.Then in "The Final Battle! Burn Up, Fist of Friendship" when Eva Durix open the trap floor were Sarah is about to fall until Kage-Maru race to save her.

Street Fighter- Unlike in the games version Guile is single and has not being married or had any children. He has an on-and-off relationship with an ex-girlfriend named Lucinda during the whole Series but they still have feelings for each other.

In "Strange Bedfellows" Lucinda was injured when Akuma attack the scientist making Guile believe that Bison is behind this wanted to get revenge for what happen to her. After Guile and Bison worked together to take down Akuma at that Guile visit Lucinda at the hospital with flowers as those two kissed together at the end of the episode.

In "The Warrior King" Chun-Li have fallen in love with the Warrior King while he feels the same way until another vortex appears and the Warrior King is forced to leave Chun-Li forever.

At the end of this episode Chun-Li said to her team mate that she already got a boyfriend and hoped to see him again someday.

In "Eye of the Beholder" Blank met Mei Lei after hear that a scientist in Hawaii is concocting a serum that could help Blanka revert to his human form which Vega wants for himself.

After end of the battle as Blanka (back to his beast self) and Ma-Lei walk on the beach at the the sunset that she tells Blanka that whilst Vega had a handsome face but has a twisted soul. But she says that Blanka's is strong and unselfish with compassion and life which to Me-Lei, that is the greatest beauty there can ever be as those kissed each other at the end of the episode.

Night Warriors: Darkstalkers' Revenge-Demitri Maximoff and Morrigan Aensland first met each other were Demitri traveled to the Demon World in order to conques. They were enemies but later after an endless fight Demitri and Morrigan finally falls in love with each other.

Darkstalkers- There is only two characters who have some sort of love interest Felicia and Jon Talbain. In one episode Felicia and Jon Talbain work together to rescue Harry from Morrigan.

At the near end of the episode while Jon Talbain in his human laying unconscious Felicia kissed him as it might be that she had feelings for him since they must have known each other before. It feels more like a fairy tale of Beauty and the Beast but this case Felicia and Jon Talbain are both Darkstalkers.

At the start of the Spider Riders Series Hunter first met Corona when he came to the Inner World and become a Spider Rider at the same episode. In the next episode "Never Give Up." Hunter and Shadow don't seem to be getting along and Corona started to get fed up with their childish behavior. So she decides to show Hunter a few tricks of the trade, such as de-morphing. She also explains that he will have to come with her to Arachna Castle while explaining about the Inner World.

During a few episodes Hunter did start to get to know the other Spider Riders more as well as Corona in fact they both became battle partners (not a couple) while battle the Invectids.

In "Memories of Champions." Corona takes Hunter to the Hill of Champions; the place where spiders and humans first fought together against the Invectid invaders. While at the same episode later met Buguese the leader of the Big Four and battle his Invectid machine.

During the fight Hunter was knocked down by the mysterious girl in a mask (who turns out to be Aqune) who revealed to be Buguese's human ally but they weren't introduce properly until later in "The Mask of Aqune."

While fighting Aqune that Hunter manages to cut her mask off as she looked Shocked and frightened due to not being aware of what she does when under the control of her mask. Aqune and Hunter fell down a cliff in the confusion.

Later on Hunter woke up to find that Aqune took care of Hunter after he'd been hurt during the fall, he healed quickly thanks to her while starting to see that Aqune isn't really evil at all. Unfortunately Aqune is reunited with Buguese soon afterward as stood still as she allowed Buguese to place another mask on her, and together continued their search for the shrine.

Between "Keys to Destruction." and "A New Power." Hunter and the other Spider Rider learnt that Aqune is a Spider Rider and her battle Spider is Magma's battle Spider Brutus's lost younger sister Portia. Hunter figure the only way to free them is to destroy Aqune's mask which proven to be difficult until the next episode Aqune's mask became damage which freed her from Buguese's control.

However after Hunter and Shadow were transform with the Oracle Key (thanks to Corona and Aqune) Buguese forced Aqune return to the Invectids on their transport which made Hunter's mission to to rescue Aqune and Portia.

In "Corona's Homecoming." Hunter and Corona visit her old hometown of Araja to investigate on any Oracle Keys. During the visit all of Corona's friends and relatives are more interested in making a couple of the two eligible Spider Riders. Despite Corona and Hunter's best efforts, nothing can convince the villagers that they're just good friends including her sisters Sina and Mina.

During the episode Hunter learnt from Sina and Mina that Corona isn't really their biological sister as they revealed many years ago they have adopted Corona when she was found wandering near the village when she was little. The only thing the young Corona could remember was her name and the only possession she apparently owned was her manacle.

Between "Big Bug" and "Action in Arachna" During the invasion of Arachna Castle Aqune and Portia return "again under Invectid control" as she managed to gain control of one of the Oracle Keys which transform her and Portia. Despite this advantage Hunter was granted the power of the second key from Nuuma, destroying her mask and restoring her to normal. Hunter went over to Aqune to check that she wasn't hurt while she gave him the Oracle Key back to him which allow him and Shadow to transform into different armours. Aqune was later carried back to the Invectid lands by Buguese after the battle was over.

During the Spider Rider trip to Nuuma, Aqune again attacked Hunter and the others while under the influence of another of Buguese's masks until in "Paradise" as she tried to use the Oracle Key again but the her mask suddenly broke into pieces which freed Aqune from the masks influence.

Hunter went running toward Aqune to see if she's okay as Aqune open her eyes and regained consciousness to see Hunter's face. While Brutus and Portia are happily reunited at last.

While Magama is happy to see Brutus is reunited with his sister Portia, Corona looked to be jealous towards Aqune with Hunter and doesn't seem to trust her especially not like the idea to have Aqune coming with them until both Hunter and Magma pointed out to her about that the Infectids are going to be looking for her and if they do Brutus and his sister will be separated again.

Later on the Spider Riders were pulled into the forest by a mysterious force one by one until Aqune and Hunter are in a fantasy realm where they are offered food and when Hunter asks why she is with the Invectids. Aqune stated that she had no memories except that she live with the Invectids as she and Portia grew up together and always wore the manacle.

Aqune wasn't sure whether she should go with the Spider Riders, but she believed that Nuuma might hold the keys to finding out her mysterious past. Between "Hero" and "Reunions" Aqune join the Spider Riders until Buguese put a new mask on Aqune and return to the Invectids side.

After the battle in Nuuma with Buguese and Aqune successfully stole the Oracle Key that Queen Illuma reveal that revealed that Corona and Aqune are sisters and hand maiden to the Spirit Oracle. This revolution shocked Corona that she start to remember her tramua past.

During a few episodes including "Fly no Longer." Corona begin to feel confused and worried especially that she had found out that she is the the Spirit Oracle hand maiden. Also Hunter was trying to protect Corona since he thought that she doesn't want to fight anymore but they did reconcile over their earlier miscommunication.

In "Afraid Of the Dark."while Hunter and Shadow were seperated from the others and that they have found themselves at Mantid's castle. Mantid give Hunter a chance to leave the Invectids land with Aqune after he removed the mask so she can talk to him. Aqune expresses that while understands Hunter's concerns the Invectids were the ones who raised her and she must stay to help them. Shadow even recalls that a person should help the ones that cares for them regardless of their alignment. She then cooks for Hunter, a meal which she has every night. He likes it, afterwards he makes a request; to be taken to Grasshop's house to meet his family.

At the near end of "Dark Deceptions." Corona run ti Hunter to hug him as she's very happy to see him again alive however Quake stole that moment as Corona freaked out when she found out that she had been hugging an old man.

In "Welcome Back." Aqune (still controlled by the mask) is about to finished off Hunter with one big blow until she was stopped by Buguese as he blocked her moves. Aqune was both shocked and confuse as she doesn't understand why Buguese would want to protect an enemy that he despise so much. But it would appears that Bugese had started to regret for controlling and manipulated Aqune through the mask for far too long which is why he decided to do the right thing in the end to releases Aqune from control as she and Portia are freed at last .

Hunter and Corona run to Aqune's side to check on her as they 're happy to see her back to her old self while Portia reunites with her brother once again. Buguese takes the mask and uses the Oracle power within it to restart Dark Opal. With Dark Opal Buguese flies back to Fortress Mantid, and crashes into it.

Now free to make her own decisions Aqune accompanied her fellow Spider Riders on a mission to stop Mantid. In the final episode "Arachna Power." Aqune used her powers as a handmaiden along with Corona to help Hunter regain control over the Oracle's power. But later they both were worried for Hunter when he started to use the Oracle's power with hatred in his heart. Aqune, along with everyone else was witness to the sudden appearance of the Spirit Oracle herself when she appeared to stop Hunter's final blow.

After Mantid return human and the Outer World reunited with Loraine, the Oracle sun back to full strength, Invectids and humans alike from all over the Inner World begin to celebrate. Hunter thanks Corona for helping him see the error of his ways as he would have been the wrong hero.

Before Quake left he asked Hunter who he will be his battle partner in his next adventure Corona or Aqune. This surprise them as Hunter responds by saying, "Whoever can catch me first!" Which they did as Aqune accompanied Corona in chasing after Hunter while riding their spiders.
