Èriuise is the het ship between Éric and Louise from the The Case Study of Vanitas fandom.

Canon[]

Louise and Èric first met when Louise asked him for sex, and Èric agreed to spend the rest of his life with her. They were still Ruthven's apprentices, working alongside Ruthven as peace brokers between humans and vampires. One day they came across a dirty young girl sitting alone.

Louise and Èric decided to adopt her as their adopted daughter, naming her "Jeanne". They often asked Ruthven to be their teacher, taking care of her during their busy work hours.

Although their daughter was still at a mischievous age, she was a good girl, waiting for her parents to come home. Sometimes Louise was the one who taught Jeanne how to flirt and have sex since she was young. Jeanne listened well to her mother and used it in the future.

On the day of the peace treaty between humans and vampires, Louise and Èric, who were protecting Ruthven, betrayed him and joined the humans who disagreed with the peace treaty. Ruthven was injured and both of them were sentenced to death and their heads were put on spikes in front of everyone.

Jeanne, who was waiting for her parents to return home, was caught and taken as a prisoner by the family when she learned that they had betrayed their race. Jeanne abandoned everything, even her own identity and race, becoming a emotionless war doll.

Their daughter didn't blame them for it, but blamed herself for the deaths of Louise and Èric because she came out of the lab, disobeying someone's orders not to come out into the outside world.

But even so, Jeanne still misses them. Later, she falls in love with Vanitas. When the date is over, Ruthven comes up to her and compliments her on how much she has grown and how beautiful she is. I think they must be proud of her, which makes Jeanne smile happily.

She goes to Gévaudan and realizes that she has fallen in love with Vanitas. Jeanne remembers her mother's advice to flirt with men, which is not the same as what Louise did with Èric, although Domi goes against her mother's advice. Jeanne, who has regained her confidence, always remembers them.

The reason for Ruthven's betrayal is still unknown. Why did Louise and Èric decide to betray the teacher they loved the most? or they learn the truth behind the world and encounter something that changes their minds. But it is assumed that it is because Noe's teacher wants world peace by finding a way to experiment on vampires to become humans again, unlike Ruthven who wants everyone to stay as vampires rather than humans. That may be the reason why Louise and Èric joined. All of this remains ambiguous and awaits clarification in the next series.

Fanon[]

Èriuise is the least popular ship compared to their daughter VaniJeanne. It seems that Louise and Èric's relationship inspired Jeanne to develop a taste for beautiful men, as evidenced by her adoptive father, Èric. And because of that, Jeanne developed a habit of being the one to flirt with Vanitas first.
