45 is the non-binary ship between Four and Five from the Battle for Dream Island fandom.

Canon[]

When Five gets into an argument with the other numbers over who gets to retrieve Ten, Four overhears this and starts smirking. Four calls Five, Six, Seven, and Nine over to play a game with the chance of winning the prize. Five is about to ask what the prize is but gets confused on what Four even means by there being a prize. Four explains that they all will battle for the privilege of who gets to retrieve Ten, announcing Five as one of his five contestants. In the competition, Five passes through the first five challenges and reaches to the final three with Seven and Nine. In the final three, as Four congratulates each of them getting this far, he decides to eliminate Five next. Angered, Five yells at him for eliminating them abruptly, pointing out how they never lost a challenge and had no votes against them. Four quickly thinks of a challenge that will eliminate them, saying that the next challenge is to not be a purple five. Calling Seven and Nine safe, Four apologizes to Five as they reluctantly accept their fate and walk away. After Five says that they didn't want to win anyways, Four stops them to say something, briefly giving Five hope that they're still in. Four decides that to make the elimination special, he will be lifting Five up and sucking them away similar to how he eliminated the contestants in BFB. Five strongly protests this, although Four has already made up his mind. Right as Four is in the process of doing so, Eight interrupts Four and announces that he brought over Ten. As Four is excited and starts talking to Ten, Five is still stuck in Four with their lower body sticking out. Five manages to get themself out of Four and tells Six to stop laughing when their body ends up looking distorted because of it.

Fanon[]

45 is a rarepair within the algebralians. A good majority of its ship content comes from shippers of the two on Pinterest. Art from the site portrays them in a more calming and intimate manner than their dynamic shown in the shorts. Having dozens of art on the site's boards, a small following between shippers developed outside of the platform as well. Video edits on TikTok of the two also exist for the ship mainly by fans of the characters. The ship is still rare mainly because of the lesser moments between the two, particularly more rare on Four's end. With the algebralians, the pairing is rivaled by some such as 4x and 24 for Four and 57 and 25 for Five.
