47 is the non-binary ship between Four and Seven from the Battle for Dream Island fandom.

Canon[]

After Four announces the channel's achievement of 600,000 subscribers, Four finds Seven crying. He reveals that Seven had been forgotten for eleven years and wants to be recognized again as Six takes their place in the sub count. Four encourages the audience to subscribe so Seven can feel better and so that they can kick Six out.

When Snowball, Pen, and Eraser try to get Four's attention, he tells the three he's busy meeting a friend at the Equation Playground. Upon getting there, Four tells Seven that he has good news and whispers it to their ear. Seven cheers and kicks Six out of the sub count and into the air.

When it's Seven's time to leave the sub count, Four and X star in a sitcom to try to deliver the message to Seven. They leave a sarcastic remark about it, prompting Four to call them out and ask if they understand. As Seven refuses to leave the sub count, Four demands that they do so and allow Eight to take their place. Later when Four, X, Eight and Nine stack on top of Seven to rescue Six from the ground, Four is annoyed by Seven and Nine arguing. He tells the two to get along so the tower stops being wobbly, which they reluctantly agree to. After Four catches Six, Seven knocks everyone off their head and wants them to leave so they can go back to being in the sub count. Four is further annoyed that they have to deal with this problem and wonders how they can get them out. Seven is later launched away by Six and as Eight takes their place, Four celebrates the channel reaching 800,000 subscribers.

As the numbers argue over who gets to retrieve Ten, Four announces that they will play a game. Referencing the same scene in early BFB, Seven says that they love games and asks what's wrong when the others stare blankly at Four. Seven, along with Five, Nine, Six, and X, become contestants of Four's show deciding who gets to retrieve Ten. In the fifth challenge, Seven makes soup for Four to taste. Upon trying Seven's soup, Four shrivels up and Seven is eliminated shortly after. They later win the second rejoin challenge and Four announces that Nine, Five, and Seven are the final three. Four tells Nine and Seven that they get to advance to the finale because they're neither purple nor a five, eliminating Five from the competiton. Afterwards when Eight wins the competition because he was the one to bring Ten to the equation playground, Seven groans along with Five, Six, and Nine.

Fanon[]

47 is somewhat rare as a ship for Four and Seven. The two, though, have had an early establishment compared to other algebralien ships that were later developed in the fandom. This is evident when Seven was one of the first algebraliens to reappear in the series' shorts and their first moments back were of Four comforting them. A common theme with fan perception of the two is Four being friends with X, who has a value of seven, leading some to think Four would like Seven because of this. Although this is joked about in fan art, most of the fandom perfers to put Four with X, where the 4x ship greatly overshadows either of their ships with Seven. Nonetheless, 47 still has a small following with video edits showing their moments in the shorts. Other ships that often rival the two include 24, 67, and 79.
