6 + 7 + 5 + 1 = 19 is the friendship between Six, Runaway Kid, The Girl in the Yellow Raincoat, and Mono from the Little Nightmares fandom.

Canon[]

The four as a whole are all survivors who all have the same goal; escape from their imprisonment and pass by the creatures that keep them caged and in constant fear. Unfortunately, only one actually makes it: Six. This wasn't achieved solo, however. If it weren't for Mono, Raincoat Girl, and Runaway Kid carrying her, it's unlikely she would have succeeded in the end.

Very Little Nightmares[]

Raincoat Girl is physically separated from the rest of the cast, for she resides in a separate part of the universe from where the stories behind Mono and Runaway Kid take place. She could be easily mistaken for Six due to her raincoat and obscured features. Towards the end of Very Little Nightmares, her respective game, she falls off a cliff, and the wind yanks off of her hood. From there the audience realizes that she isn't Six due to her hairstyle; a long braided pigtail. Instead, Six is the girl with the bob-cut following and assisting Raincoat Girl throughout her treacherous journey to supposed freedom.

Six witnesses her death in her attempt to rescue Raincoat Girl from the Pretender to no avail. She rushes down the towering cliff to reach the bottom, where Raincoat Girl's raincoat can be seen drifting across the vast ocean. It's unclear what happens after that.

Little Nightmares[]

Six's story continues somewhere else; the Maw. Six has been living undercover from the watchful eyes of the monsters infesting the submarine-like city. She runs around fleeing from aggressors, solving puzzles, and overcoming obstacles. The first time she expresses hunger she wearily drags herself near a cafeteria with a barred window. Runaway Kid, who isn't explicitly obvious due to being obscured in shadows, notices her predicament and offers her his bread, which was his last grain of food.

She eagerly consumes his offering and continues on without saying a word. In the DLC, the game is played through Runaway Kid's perspective. In one of the hidden Easter eggs, he can watch Six traverse through the river of discarded shoes through a camera. This implies that their relationship is deeper than perceived, even if Six couldn't see it from her point of view. When provoking the Lady, he is forcefully transformed into a Nome. Small and weak, he's left with no other choice but to move on.

He lands in a secluded dining room with nothing else but a singular sausage and a few scattering Nomes in the background. The DLC reveals that the Nome Six mercilessly consumed alive was Runaway Kid himself.

Little Nightmares 2[]

In the prequel of the original Little Nightmares, Six meets Mono, a male survivor such as herself. They first encounter when Mono breaks into Six's cramped room in Hunter's abode with an axe. Terrified, she hides underneath a table. Mono pursues her carefully, signaling his harmless intent. He offers a hand to her, which she almost takes before shoving past him and fleeing.

Mono is left to pursue her and finds her cornered after her attempt at yanking the attic open fails. She slowly realizes that Mono is indeed not a threat. Additionally, he's a valuable asset and teammate. Their friendship begins from there as they fight through the horrors of the eerie city; holding hands, escaping monsters, surviving obstacles, and so on. Once they reach the tower, however, their relationship takes a drastic turn when Six is captured by the Thin Man.

She's mutilated into a grotesque, disfigured entity much like the other creatures the player encounters. Mono jumps into the Tower solo to rescue her. When he finds her in her horrifying state it doesn't take him long to figure that the music box she clings lovingly to is the seal to her curse. Thus, he destroys it, which makes Six immediately despise and try to kill him. When finally destroying the box, she's returned to normal.

This enrages the Tower, and it begins closing in on them in yet another attempt at ruthless murder. The duo run for their lives with Mono barely reaching the edge of a gap if it weren't for Six catching his hand. The two sit there for an agonizing while before Six finally makes her decision to drop him into the gaping chasm.

It's worth noting that Six achieved her raincoat in this game. It's implied that it is Raincoat Girl's raincoat that got carried from the ocean and onto shore. Additionally, a secret Nome can be discovered once inside the Hunter's home. Though it's clearly not Runaway Kid, it can be a complementary reference to him and previous children in Little Nightmares.

Fanon[]

The friendship is an easily recognized and loved pairing within the fandom. There are thousands if not hundreds theories surrounding their stories and character. Examples include instead of Six being the Lady's daughter, Raincoat Girl is, since she wore the yellow raincoat first and had a similar hairstyle to the small girl seen in the portrait with the Lady. They're often seen in comedic or genuinely heartwarming skits together as a team and or a harmonized friend group.
