714 is the non-binary ship between Seven and Fourteen from the Battle for Dream Island fandom.

Canon[]

When Fourteen says that they can go back to eating people's skin after leaving the sub count, Seven laughs at this and calls him "classic Fourteen". After being jailed, Fourteen reflects back on this moment and uses it to help Two release him from jail. Upon being released, Fourteen uses the giant division sign to split himself into two sevens, both appearing as Seven in a green color. Fourteen, as one of the green sevens, approaches Seven and their friends. Seven greets Fourteen and compliments his look. Fourteen introduces himself as Seven as well and as they talk, Five realizes that Fourteen split himself into two sevens. The real Seven is confused by this, although Fourteen pretends to admit to the plan and says to be put back in his cell. Seven tries to prove their innocence and freaks out when Nine and Six take them and Fourteen away. Nine drops Seven next to a plus symbol with Fourteen on the other side, quickly causing Seven to panic. After failing to run away, Seven is now in the form of Fourteen inside his jail cell, with the real Fourteen as the other green seven approaching them. Seven calls him out for getting him accused as Fourteen laughs it off and says that his plan has succeeded. As Seven yells that he won't get away with it, Fourteen vows to enact his revenge on the other integers.

After one of Fourteen's pranks, Five gathers Nine, Six, and Ten and shares their insight about Seven being framed. Fourteen, still as the green seven, is eventually led to a cabin and burnt down by Fifteen as part of Five's plan to capture him. Afterwards, the real Seven is released and reverted back to their normal form. Seven walks back with Eight, who is carrying Fourteen as the other green seven, to add the two green sevens back to Fourteen.

Fanon[]

After the release of the two million subscriber special, shippers of the algebralians quickly picked up interest in the two. Because the short mainly focused on Fourteen's reliance of appearing as Seven, shippers of the two saw an interest of Fourteen wanting a stronger connection with Seven. Much of the ship art often ties in Fourteen's cannibalistic desires as a love language, such as giving up a limb to give to Seven as a gift. Most of its following comes from fan art on Twitter and Pinterest, reflecting on their dynamic in the short. As the pairing is fairly mixed in opinion otherwise, Seven's ships such as 79 and 67 are often thought as other preferences, with Fourteen's other ships such as 214 also somewhat acting as a rival ship.

On AO3, as of November 4, 2024, the ship has 1 work under its platonic tag.
