AGSZC is the poly between Sephiroth, Zack Fair, Cloud Stife, Angeal Hewley, and Genesis Rhapsodos in the Final Fantasy fandom.

Canon

All four are members of Shinra, with all but Cloud working for SOLDIER. Sephiroth, Angeal, and Genesis are around the same age and have been in SOLDIER together for quite some time. They are all eventually made First Class SOLDIERs, and are known to train together often. Zack and Cloud are around the same age as each other, and a few years younger than the other three. While Zack is also a member of SOLDIER and eventually becomes First Class as well, Cloud is merely a Shinra infantryman with dreams of one day joining SOLDIER. Zack is particularly close to Angeal, whom he greatly looks up to.

When Genesis and Angeal both desert SOLDIER, Sephiroth and Zack grow increasingly concerned for their friends. Sephiroth sends Zack out on a mission to try and convince them to come back to Shinra, but he fails. Later, Sephiroth and Zack agree to spare Angeal's life because they care for him so deeply. Cloud is never shown to meet Angeal on screen before he is inevitably killed by Zack's hand. Following Angeal's death, Zack takes on the Buster Sword that Angeal once wielded.

Sephiroth, Zack, and Cloud are sent on a mission to Nibelheim following Angeal's death and Genesis' supposed death. There, Sephiroth learns that he was created from the cells of Jenova, much in the same way that Angeal and Genesis were. This sends him on a spiral, which eventually leads to him burning down Nibelheim. Zack tries to stand up to Sephiroth and reason with him, but is gravely injured. He begs for Cloud to finish Sephiroth off which he does, killing him and sending him into the lifestream. Zack and Cloud are then abducted by Hojo and put into Mako for the next four years.

When they awaken and break out of Shinra Manor, they are continually pursued by Genesis. He believes that Cloud has the perfect cells that he needs to stop himself from degrading. Zack defends Cloud from Genesis, eventually fighting him in a boss battle in the caves under Banora. Genesis' life is spared by Zack, and Zack and Cloud head off to Midgar together. There the Shinra troops finally catch up with them, and Zack is killed after trying to defend Cloud from the infantrymen. He gives Cloud the Buster Sword, and tells Cloud to live for both of them.

Traumatized, Cloud takes on Zack's memories and persona and heads to Midgar. Meanwhile, Sephiroth eventually pieces himself back together in the lifestream and decides to wreak havoc on humanity. Cloud is shocked to learn that he is alive, as he remembers killing him in Nibelheim.

Fanon

AGSZC is a popular ship in the Final Fantasy fandom, with a very strong fanbase. Fans of this ship are often big fans of Crisis Core, as that is the origin of the pairing. The name of this pairing comes from the first letter of each members name, seemingly organized in order of their introduction into the polycule. Most fanworks start off with the pairing of Angenesiroth, before Zack and Cloud are added into the mix as they enroll in Shinra.
