Abasther, also known as Estherdon, is the family and friend ship (depending how you see them) between Abaddon and Esther from the Haunted Hotel fandom.

Abaddon is considered "honorary brother" to Esther.
They are not blood kin, but then there is that feeling that they look after and depend on one another. Esther treats Abaddon more like a friend and ally rather than just a supernatural being.
Mutual Trust & Cooperation in Threatening Situations : Abaddon makes appearances with Esther throughout the season in supernatural crises. They do so, for example, in "The Esthercist" as Abaddon helps procure ingredients to ward off the demons released by Esther's snowglobe.
They are always on the job whenever strange or threatening occurrences take place in the hotel. Esther's fascination with Abaddon's knowledge and skills makes them a productive working team.
Esther's Interest Meets Abaddon's Knowledge Base : Esther's fascination with the supernatural, occult, and magic is nicely complemented by Abaddon, demon and centuries old. Therefore, he becomes a specially relevant person in her experiments and tricks.
Abaddon sometimes plays guide, protector, or aider to plans Esther comes up (or accidentally triggers).
Emotional Attachment Growth : Abaddon begins to realize the family— Esther in particular— are not just transient friends but are really important to him, and his approach to spending time with them alters accordingly. One fan recap noted that Abaddon's declaration of "not being just a blip" reflects his realization that his relationship with Esther is more than transient.
Consistent moments : Esther remembering Abaddon's preferences, taking good care of him, defending him, and relying on him. Abaddon reciprocates by being loyal, protective, and sometimes emotionally open.
