Abstragedy is the non-binary ship between Gangle and Zooble from the The Amazing Digital Circus fandom.

Canon

In the pilot, Gangle was worried about Zooble being kidnapped by the Gloinks and whined when their head got eaten by the Gloink Queen

In the storyboards of "Candy Carrier Chaos", in Kaufmo's funeral, Zooble was looking at Gangle, however, it was removed in the episode itself

In "The Mystery of Mildenhall Manor", Gangle and Zooble where sitting next to each other while Gangle was happily drawing, observing Pomni when she was holding her breath. Later, on Caine's therapy, Zooble placed their hands on their heart while talking about Gangle, saying "Gangle's too shy to speak up"

In a Christmas post by the official GLITCH account. From there, Zooble is seen gifting Gangle a happy mask, and the latter smiles in appreciation. This supports the possibility of them being friends. It is unclear as of now what their relationship is and or was before Pomni's arrival.

Fanon

Abstragedy is a fairly popular ship within the The Amazing Digital Circus fanbase. With their contrasting personalities, fans find their dynamic interesting. This is said due to Gangle's sensitive and quiet nature compared to Zooble's toughened and distant personality. They may seem like an unlikely couple and or friendship due to this, but as proven in GLITCH's post, their capabilities of coinciding are high. Additionally, they spark the Opposites Attract trope.

The ship was formed mostly because of people slapping the two together to not leave them hanging among fans other ships, activating the Pair the Spares trope. Though it continues to be heavily shipped for they're depicted as more than a "leftover" pairing.

Though the Christmas post undoubtedly supported their popularity, Abstragedy was shipped before said post. It came to light around the PILOT's release. Some suggested their ship name to be "SpaghettiOhs" but was later replaced with their current name. The temporary ship name still remains an alternative title. In the majority of fanfiction and fanart, Zooble comforts Gangle through her depression and protects her from harm. Their wholesome dynamic increased their popularity rapidly, allowing it to become one of the most popular ships within the community.

As shown in the progression of the series, they both struggle with serious conflict with themselves. Zooble suffers from supposed body dysmorphia and Gangle is heavily implied to suffer through depression, evident in her continuously hiding her sad face and canonically described as someone easy to push around. With these in mind, it adds to their comforting relationship in several headcanons and ship art that depict them supporting each other through these problems. Fans are hoping that with the release of episode four the audience gets to learn more about Gangle's troubles and past. This allows more information to be compared with Zooble to influence Abstragedy.

The ship is rivaled with Zaxbys and Ribbun.
