Achebass is the femslash ship between Acheron and Frebass from the Honkai: Star Rail fandom.
Canon[]
An unnamed time period ago, Acheron and Frebass were close friends who traveled with one another before Frebass's journey into the depths of IX. The two first met one another in the planet called Orkron at an unknown time after Izumo had been destroyed and Acheron had become a Self-Annihilator. Frebass was a Nameless from Toyro who wished to travel on a road deeper than Akivili's and go where no one else had, the depths of IX, despite knowing that she would not come back. Due to her status a Self-Annihilator, Acheron was able to fulfill her wish and guide her to Nihility, and the two said goodbye to one another with a smile on their faces. Despite the fact the two only journeyed together for a short time, they formed a close relationship, close to the degree that Frebass's last memories before she died were of Acheron and the time they spent together.

Acheron's Character Story IV[]
Acheron's fourth character story is a note left behind by Frebass about Acheron. Frebass notes that she is leaving the letter here in case she does not return, and it can tell the tale of the companion she encountered in Orkron, Acheron. Frebass states that the journey to the other side was dangerous, and only thanks to Acheron was she able to navigate her way through it. She remarks that when she first met Acheron it seemed she was on a quest, possibly revenge, yet Frebass soon realized that was not the case, as people consumed with hate eventually reveal it, yet aside from the occasional sorrow, Acheron was always so composed.
Frebass goes on to say that Acheron had traveled to many worlds before they met and possessed many life skills, which came in handy when they cooked together and set up camp. Frebass states that on starless nights, she would tell Acheron her stories, to which Acheron would listen intently, or they would discuss their plans for tomorrow, however they often journeyed silently. She states that the snow in Orkron tastes like raspberries, and despite the fact Acheron had nearly lost her sense of taste she still appreciated the snow donuts Frebass made for her.
Frebass states that before she met Acheron, she had been wandering through the River Of Nihility for years, yet Acheron extended her hand out to her and they ventured along the river together. Now that the two were about to part ways, and Frebass had not reached the shore, Frebass was unsure about what lied ahead for her, yet she saw no reason to stop her journey, as life is simply a road that eventually ends, therefore she should keep pressing forward, as she guessed Acheron would do the same too.

Fanon[]
Achebass is Frebass's most popular ship, and a decently well-known and acknowledged one for Acheron, acknowledged most among the fanbase of shippers who favor femslash ships over others, typically found on Twitter and TikTok. Due to a lack of significant content, Achebass is overshadowed by Acheron's most popular ships, and remains an overall rare pairing amongst the fandom.
After the "Pioneer Diver Of Dead Waters" relic lore was revealed, the fandom began to theorize that Frebass's friend mentioned was highly likely to be Acheron, based on the description given. This led a few people to theorize that Frebass was intended to be the Honkai Star Rail universe's version of Kiana Kaslana based on her personality and the suggestive nature of their relationship. After Acheron was released in 2.1 and her lore revealed that she was indeed Frebass's friend, more people began to take an interest in Achebass, with Frebass becoming more widely acknowledged as a theoretical Kiana expy, or at least Acheron's Kiana. Due to Frebass being dead, Kiamei fans liked to see them as a doomed Kiamei parallel where instead of Mei saving her Kiana, she tragically lost her.
After CGs from the 2.2 main story were leaked, fans quickly noticed the CG of Acheron sitting with a white haired person by a fire, and came to the conclusion that this was Frebass, and her being a Kiana expy was confirmed due to the white hair, rushing to Twitter to post about Achebass being "canon". When the release of 2.2 confirmed that it was in fact Tiernan, fans were disappointed to learn that it was not Frebass and her appearance may never be revealed. However, fans were very happy with more Achebass content in the form of Acheron's talk with Tiernan about Frebass, believing it to mean that she truly was the Kiana Acheron lost.
Due to easily being Frebass's most popular, Achebass is only truly rivaled by Acheron's more popular ships, AcherSwan, Acherobin and Stelleron.
