Achenabi is the femslash ship between Acheron and Sparkle from the Honkai: Star Rail fandom.
Canon[]
Acheron and Sparkle are both Penacony characters originally introduced as VIP guests invited to The Feast to represent The Galaxy Rangers and The Masked Fools respectively. However, Aventurine revealed in "Whodunit" that Acheron was not actually a Galaxy Ranger, her true identity being that of an Emanator of Nihility, a Self Annihilator. In fact, Acheron was not even invited to The Feast, as she obtained her invitation by murdering Duke Inferno, stealing the invitation The Annihilation Gang had received in the process, her motivation behind it being that she sought The Watchmaker's Legacy. Additionally, it was later revealed by Black Swan in "Masquerade Duet" that Sparkle was hired by someone to come to Penacony, therefore she may not have actually been invited as a guest.
Acheron is an Emanator of Nihility, a Self Annihilator, who comes from the now destroyed planet Izumo. Acheron is a very serious and introverted person to the point of appearing to be aloof. Due to her status as a Self Annihilator, she possesses an extremely poor memory, with that being the reason behind her complete lack of directional skills. Despite seemingly being a cold and emotionless person, after Firefly's death her cold and stoic mask was shown to break, revealing her as the naturally melancholic and depressive person she is. Like all Self Annihilators, she believes that her existence is completely meaningless and does not enjoy living, but holds the belief that the past shapes people into who they are today, and it is important to try and move on from the past.
Sparkle is a member of The Masked Fools who is implied to come from the planet Edo Star. She puts on an extremely chaotic and somewhat insane personality, seemingly being a person who will cause all sorts of chaos purely to feel "Elation", and appears to lack respect for others. Her true identity is unknown as she puts on all sorts of different "faces", with it being implied she does not know who she truly is, nor does she feel any emotion.
Should One Awaken At Midnight[]
Upon forming an alliance, Black Swan and the main character return to the Dreamscape, and shortly upon making their way through it, they run into Acheron surrounded by monsters. After defeating the monsters together, Acheron asks Black Swan and the main character what they are doing here, to which Black Swan responds the same could be said to her. Acheron's response is one of three dialogue options, either that she befriended some Bloodhounds and was helping them track a wanted criminal and ended up in the Dreamscape by accident, that she was investigating the rumors about The Watchmaker's Legacy and upon testing a method ended up in the Dreamscape, or that she ran into Sparkle, who was the one who sent her to the Dreamscape, with Acheron wondering if perhaps she accidentally hurt her.

Fanon[]
Achenabi is considered to be a very pairing in the fandom, with a very minimal amount of shippers. When the Penacony cast were first leaked, players instantly took an interest in Acherobin, as they found Robin's appearance to somewhat similar to that of Kiana Kaslana, liking to see Acherobin as a parallel to Kiamei. As well as Acherobin, players found SparkleSwan to be be very shippable due to the leaks of Sparkle's suggestive interactions with Black Swan, as well as her voiceline about her, whilst some people simply shipped them due to being the 2.0 five star duo. Achenabi is typically neglected in favor of AcherSwan and SparkleSwan, having a very minimal amount of shippers.
Due to a lack of content with one another, the two did not gain much new popularity as a ship after the release of Penacony and remained a rarepair once the Penacony arc ended. A couple of people did began to appreciate the potential dynamic between the after Acheron's dialogue revealing she had interacted with Sparkle, and later on Acheron's trailer. The few shippers they do have like to imagine they would have a dynamic where Sparkle frequently seeks Acheron out, teasing her and trying to "pull" her. Achenabi is typically most acknowledged amongst the fanbase of shippers who favor femslash ships over others, especially on Twitter and TikTok.
Achenabi is rivaled by Acheron and Sparkle's popular most ships, AcherSwan and SparkleSwan, as well as ships such as Acherobin,Stelleron, Robinabi and Sparkfly.
