Adamil is the het ship between Ada Mesmer and Emil from the Identity V fandom.
Canon[]
Ada and Emil have a complicated relationship. In the Ten Days of Memories event, it is shown that Ada takes care of Emil as a psychologist herself, sometimes performing dangerous experiments on him. However, on the last day they run away from Asylum together, and have mutual feelings for each other. In nearly all of the official art that the two are featured in, one of them is also usually featured in the art even if they aren’t close to each other. They also have a lot of matching costumes within the game.
Ten Days of Memories[]
Emil's Route[]
Emil firstly wakes up, questioning who he is and where he is, mentioning Ada at some point. Some time later, he says he saw a new doctor, Ada, calling her different from the others, and complimenting her smell. During his electroshock therapy, Ada stood by his side the entire time. The next day, Emil says he was glad that Ada came to check up on him out of all the other doctors because of how gentle she is. The day after, Emil says that he's looking forward to seeing Ada since she's the reason he has less nightmares now, saying she also gave him a pretty flower. The next day, Emil makes a ring out of his bed-wire even though it hurt him a bit, and Ada gladly accepts it, even putting it on in front of him.
Ada's Route[]
In the beginning of Ada's route, she says she saw an strange person, referring to Emil on the list of patients saying he seems to have no surname on the list. On day 2, Ada says she finally met Emil, saying he reminded her of a friendly puppy. On day 3, Ada says Emil interested her so much that she signed up to administer his treatment daily. On day 4, She begins saying she found a suitable method, suggesting she should talk to him. On day 7, the last day, Ada starts off saying she decided to take Emil with her, saying she wants to cure him. She then says Emil gave her a ring made from his bed’s wire, lastly saying she'll make sure to rescue him from the Asylum.
Fanon[]
Adamil is one of the more controversial ships in the fandom. Whenever it is mentioned, the fandom usually gets in arguments of whether or not it's toxic. However, many shippers deny this claim, as both Ada and Emil are shown to care for each other. The ship has a decent amount of fanfictions (around 50+ or more per website) and a lot of fan art as well.
