Adeuce is the slash ship between Ace Trappola and Deuce Spade from the Twisted Wonderland fandom.
Canon[]
Initially, Ace and Deuce didn't get along with each other very well. Deuce often found Ace too annoying, loud and carefree while Ace found Deuce to be too serious. Fortunately, through time and progress, they began to get along with one other better and formed a good sense of solidarity. While Deuce still scolds Ace for his behavior on occasion, they get along well and are rivals as well as good friends.
Prologue[]
Ace and Deuce meet in Chapter 12 of the Prologue - Ace bumps into Deuce while trying to run away from Grim, who is chasing him for attempting to skip out on cleaning. The MC/Yuu urges Deuce to try to stop Ace, and after thinking for a bit, Deuce produces a cauldron that falls onto Ace's head. Ace is injured, and Deuce sheepishly claims he had no expectation of overdoing it nor summoning such a heavy object. He asks Ace why he was being punished, who replies that he was made to clean 100 windows as punishment for charring a statue of the Queen of Hearts.
Deuce is visibly unimpressed with Ace's conduct, but introduces himself nonetheless when prompted, chiding Ace for not remembering his classmates. The MC/Yuu mentions that Grim has been oddly silent, and Ace realizes that Grim has run away from his cleaning duties during all the fuss. He insists Deuce (whom he mistakenly calls "Juice") should help them find Grim as he was partially responsible for the distraction that let him escape. They eventually find Grim hiding out in a chandelier, jeering at them. Deuce quickly comes up with the idea to hurl Ace at the chandelier to catch Grim, which he does, and the chandelier breaks.
The Headmaster catches them, reprimanding them and claiming they should be expelled from school for the mess they made. Neither Deuce nor Ace wish to be expelled, and the Headmaster mentions that the only way to fix the chandelier would be to retrieve a special crystal from the Dwarfs' Mine. Set on avoiding expulsion, Ace and Deuce venture into the mines to attempt to retrieve it. While they're exploring, they begin to bicker and blame each other for their current situation, but are interrupted by a faceless monster. Deuce sets out to fight it, but is quickly interrupted by Ace.
They narrowly escape the monsters, and both begin to fight again. However, they're interrupted by the MC/Yuu, who encourages them to work together. With their newfound tactics, they beat the monster and retrieve the crystal. They share a high five in their victory, and the MC observes that they're starting get along now (which they both deny). They together present their winnings to the Headmaster, who is impressed by their teamwork. He says he's never seen two students go hand-in-hand to defeat an enemy, which Ace and Deuce take literally and fervently deny. In the end, neither get expelled from the school. In the last chapter of the Prologue, after witnessing a bit of lighthearted bickering between the two, the MC/Yuu remarks that they may be a good combo. In the official English translation, however, they comment that Ace and Deuce are made for each other.

In Episode 1, they meet once again in the dorm. They don't seem pleased to see each other, and Deuce notes that he heard Ace stole the Dorm Leader's tart. Ace asks him if the Dorm Leader seemed angry, and Deuce replied he only seemed slightly irritated. Deuce suggests that Ace should apologize to the Dorm Leader. They later meet Cater, who makes them paint the roses in the garden red. In Chapter 5, they work together in various subjects before taking a break. At some point, Grim decides to skip out on class, and the MC/Yuu begs Ace and Deuce to help them catch Grim. Ace says he'll help in return for a chocolate croissant and Deuce says he'll help too if bought an iced latte. In the following chapters, they spend more time together in school - they explore the botanical garden together, and challenge Riddle later on in the episode. Ace punches Riddle at one point, which surprises Deuce. In the last chapter, Riddle points out that some of the white roses were never painted, and Cater gives both Ace and Deuce the ~chan suffix while worriedly claiming he thought they hadn't missed any.

Ace and Deuce meet Cater again, who dubs them the "A-Deuce Combo". Ace asks what the nickname is for, and Cater replies that their names both end with "ce" hence the combination. In the English translation, he nicknames them "Hunting Season" and "Ace Deuce" in reference to poker. Deuce complains that he doesn't wish to be given a couple nickname. In the later chapters, they agree to help find the culprit of the Magical Shift tournament sabotage. In Chapter 16, Riddle commands that in accordance with the Laws of the Queen of Hearts, they were to dress in pink. Later, Ace teases that Deuce's pink flamingo attire was quite something, which Deuce hastily excuses by claiming it's the only pink article of clothing he owns.

Fanon[]
Adeuce is considered one of the most popular ships in the Twisted Wonderland fandom, gaining a considerable amount of attention with the prologue alone. Many fans of the ship like the development of their relationship along with their amicable arguments and teasing of each other. Some are also a fan of the red-blue color contrast of the duo, along with their design resembling a set.
In poker, ace is the highest card in the deck; whereas a deuce is at the bottom of the card rankings. A pair of aces always beats a pair of deuces – or any other pair, for that matter. However, there are times when the lowly deuce – or another small card – is far better than the ace.
Ace often gives names to Deuce, such as Mr. Serious or Juice. He also claims Deuce has a "bad boy" side in reference to his short fuse and sudden bouts of anger. Ace seems to view Deuce's explosive temper as a regular Deuce thing more than anything, often remarking that his bad boy side has "come out" when Deuce is visibly angry. Their dynamic is energetic and fun, making them one of the most popular targets for fan content. On Twitter, AceDeu Day (エスデュの日) day took place on January 1, 2022.
