Escoffier opted for a huge variety of dishes... Thankfully, both of us are skilled enough that, even though it was our first time working together, we had a great rapport.

It must be noted that Escoffier doesn't appear in the Fontaine Archon Quest, and therefore, she wouldn't interact with Aether until the prophecy of Fontaine being flooded is proven wrong, with Neuvillette forcing the water to recede.

Dulciaria Structura: Escoffier's Story Quest[]

It all begins when Monica, through Leone, delivers candy to Aether and Navia as an apology for witnessing Savanna's reluctant argument. Aether finds a piece of paper inside a package of candy, which reads "Find... Escoffier."

According to Navia, Escoffier was the former head chef before Savanna and recreated the "Gateau Debord" and returned the restaurant to its former glory. According to Navia, a security incident caused Escoffier to leave the position due to an alleged illegal ingredient, specifically lumiline, that got into the food and went to Fort Meropide. Fortunately, she didn't stay long, but when she returned, Savanna had already taken over. Navia assumes that with this written note, Monica wants her and Aether to find Escoffier so she can negotiate with Savanna on behalf of the staff. But surprisingly, Aether overhears that she's also scolding someone (a kid named Hilaire) for not preparing the food properly.

Paimon approaches Escoffier unannounced and tries to talk to her, but she interrupts, saying she should get in line. Paimon says they didn't come to eat, but she gives more reason to get in line. Navia suggests waiting for Escoffier to calm down and wait for their turn. Hours passed, and there was a tremendous delay, since Escoffier became the temporary head chef, the flow of customers had tripled. While she told Aether about the situation involving Filmin, another chef, and his son Hilaire, Escoffier surprises Navia by angrily saying that she overheard her. There, at last, Aether has the opportunity to meet Escoffier in person.

Aether is surprised when Escoffier reveals that she was the one who convinced Savanna to become the new head chef. She decides to return to the Hotel Debord after reading the paper Monica gave to Navia and Aether about the desserts.

Aether returns to the Hotel Debord with Navia to check on the situation of the chefs who were previously Escoffier's subordinates, but it seems the former head chef doesn't want to return. However, Savanna shows up to scold Monica and, upon finding Escoffier, says things worthy of a grumpy boss. Escoffier reluctantly decides to confront Savanna, and the two exchange angry words. Suddenly, Vaneigem appears and, seeing the "tete-a-tete" situation between the chefs, decides to challenge them to a culinary duel to determine who cooks better, since Modeste and Savelli, the founders of the Hotel Debord, started this tradition of holding culinary duels to decide who has the last word.

Escoffier returns to Fleuve Cendre and tells Aether about the Codex Debord, Modeste's personal diary that eventually became his best recipe book. However, Aether and Paimon were surprised when Escoffier said that the original Codex wasn't much since the letters are now illegible and that most of the recipes were recreated by herself. Escoffier plans to beat Savanna with her best cake dish, the "gateau Debord," but she needs two kitchen assistants to do so. Aether offers to be a kitchen assistant, so Escoffier decides to test their cooking skills, starting with a kitchen knife, then using a juicer to extract ingredients and manipulating the seasonings to balance the flavor. Aether does it almost perfectly, surprising Escoffier. She decides to test Aether, Paimon, and Navia with something more difficult: cooking something from the Hotel Debord's current menu. Here, after finishing the dishes, Escoffier would be a food critic evaluating them.

Paimon doesn't usually cook, but she still tried to prepare a dish, while Navia tried to make some macarons based on Escoffier's past reviews. However, both are unlucky enough to receive a 6/100 rating from Escoffier for what she calls a terrible dish. Afterwards, regardless of what dish Aether prepared, Escoffier gives it an 8. At first, Aether gets frustrated thinking it's an 8/100, but Escoffier surprises him by saying that the rating is actually 8/10, and even very close to 9/10 (If calculated using the method of homogeneous equivalent fractions, Escoffier's rating for Aether's cooked food would be between 80/100 and 90/100 compared to Paimon and Navia's 6/100). Escoffier adds that this dish could still be improved to achieve higher rating, but that it is very well prepared as it is.

Firmin arrives and wants to be a kitchen assistant, so he tries to prepare something, but some voices that he remembers his boss Savanna yelling in his face made him hesitate. Monica arrived later and also offered to be a kitchen assistant, revealing that she left Savanna's team to join Escoffier's team, so she decided to choose her as the third assistant, already having Aether as the second assistant. Navia comes up with the idea of organizing a celebration with her saying "Spina di Rosula invites", so Aether and Escoffier decide to cook together the best meals Fontaine has to serve the guests.

Aether is surprised about how already he and Escoffier have a great rapport (synergy) cooking together, despite working for the first time, instead of the common Escoffier's angry words that normally he would expect her to say when the food is still far from improving.

The next day, the competition begins. Aether and Escoffier team up with Monica to do their best, preparing the best Gateau Debord possible, while Savanna does hers. In the end, they each present their Gateau Debord to the food critics. But Paimon is disappointed that Savanna won this culinary duel, so Escoffier has to give up the original Codex Debord.

Days later, one of the chefs comes with bad news: they found a map that shows all the secret places Chef Modeste went in the past, so something must be happening to Monica and Savanna. So Aether and Escoffier decide to get to the bottom of this once and for all.

Already in the ruins under the sea, Escoffier learns more about the true past of Chefs Modeste and Savelli and discovers a terrifying truth: all along the secret ingredient that Chef Modeste used in the first Gateau Debord was a hallucinogenic substance called Lumiline and this increasingly worsened Modeste's fine taste, which led him to commit suicide, contrary to rumors that it was Savelli who murdered him. Then, with this they learn that Monica actually used this substance to affect all the chefs (including Savanna) and customers and planned all this in order to steal the Treasure of Remuria from some ruins under the sea and sell it to the Treasure Hoarders to make a lot of money. So Aether and Escoffier rush to try to stop Monica. Apparently they were too late because Monica had already "killed" Savanna and plans to seize a legendary treasure, the Treasure of Remuria, but a Praetorian Golem awakens, severely attacks Monica, and attempts to attack Aether and Escoffier. Fortunately, they are defeated, but Monica, just before slowly dying from the Golem's severe blow, takes the opportunity to point a gun at Escoffier and try to kill her. Miraculously, Savanna awakens and retaliates by stabbing Monica with a knife, ensuring that she is truly dead so that she is no longer a mortal threat. The ruins begin to collapse, but fortunately, Aether and Escoffier manage to escape, taking Savanna with them out of danger.

Finally saved, the chefs appear and rejoice that they are still alive and well. The truth is revealed: Savanna was irritable all the time due to the effects of the lumiline, and Firmin seemed worn out by the same substance. Now that she's recovered from its effects, she apologizes to everyone. Escoffier takes the opportunity to propose a rematch with Savanna in a cooking duel, since Savanna didn't win fairly because of Monica.

This time, Aether and Escoffier team up again to prepare the best Gateau Debord. And this time, their performance together was so great that they finally managed to win fair and square against Savanna's team.

In the end, Aether and Escoffier have a moment alone to talk. Interestingly, she reveals that she met a certain chef from Liyue, and because of that, she decides to improve herself even if the Hotel Debord no longer needs her (or at least that's what she feels). Navia appears to share news of the Treasure of Remuria, but is disappointed to see that the jar containing that treasure has already been broken (and without knowing that it is Monica's fault).

Whirling Waltz[]

Aether arrives with Kinich at the Chevalmarine Festival by chance, and while they're talking, Lépine-Pauline and Navia appear. They both tell Aether about the festival. Navia asks Aether to help her organize it properly, as it has a very high popularity potential and that Furina is the mastermind behind it. Furthermore, they brought Escoffier as the festival's guest chef. From then on, Aether became the head of the theme park for the duration of the Chevalmarine Festival.

Here, Escoffier's role was to prepare different themed dishes from time to time to help the park staff satisfy their appetites while working on the festival.

When the Chevalmarine Festival became very popular in Fontaine and Furina was about to become an advisor, Escoffier served Furina a cake while the three talked. Aether and Paimon play along, making a few gestures to make it seem like they're introducing Escoffier.

When Aether finishes his work, he meets with Escoffier and Furina to discuss a fun topic about a supposedly new Escoffier's cake with pepper. Navia shows up to join in. As a souvenir, Navia gives Aether a map of the park where the festival took place, featuring portraits of Aether, Escoffier, and other contributing characters.

Fanon[]

This ship is Aether's most recent het ship with a medium female in Fontaine. Of all the medium-female blonde girls, Escoffier has the closest possible blonde color to Aether's (comparable to Lumine's), and both have ahoges.

Similar to Aerina, Aether and Escoffier both have an ahoge (referring to a long, noticeable strand of hair that sticks out in a different direction from the rest of a character's hair).

However, it's difficult to form a heart with these ahoge when facing each other directly, so Aether has to look slightly to his right to achieve even this decent shape.

Because this ship is so new, it's impossible to say whether it's popular or not compared to other ships, with its main rivals being the ships that involve the love triangle between Aether, Escoffier and Furina (Aerina and Escofuri).
