AffoCara is the het ship between Affogato Cookie and Caramel Arrow Cookie from the Cookie Run fandom.
Canon[]
Snow on the Black Wall[]
Caramel Arrow Cookie's attempts to defend herself and tries to explain that she was helping the kingdom's people, however Affogato Cookie twists her words into rudeness towards those who were present, he posited that she was accusing the humble court being unsuccessful to serve their Cookies, he also implies that His Majesty aides were selfish and greedy.
After that, he advises Dark Cacao Cookie to completely banish her from the Citadel. The King agreed, then saying that her spirit "had always been one with the wilds" and that she had no right to return. She follows his word and vowed to protect Dark Cacao Kingdom in her own way.
Due to his slander towards her, Caramel Arrow Cookie remains bitter towards him and says she swears that one day she will return to the citadel to prove her innocence. Her dislike for him seems to go well beyond an isolated incident, however she believes Affogato's "poisonous rumors" are responsible for Dark Cacao Cookie's change in personality and guidance. She is very vocal and does not hesitate to highlight his treachery, calling him a deceitful, sniveling snake and a dishonorable worm.
She goes to the gate of the Citadel and finds out that the gates have been barred shut, she asks if anyone is on duty and tells whoever is on duty to open the gates. While Gatekeeper Cookie tries to tell her they cannot help her, Affogato Cookie hears the commotion at the gates and interrupts their conversation. She sees him and says he is lazing around as usual, with him replying to her that he did not retract her banishment and her presence is direct defiance of the King.
She then insults Affogato Cookie by calling him treacherous, and saying she did not defy the king, and that it was his deceitful whispers that have put her in this shame. He smiles and sarcastically says that what happened to her is shameful indeed, he also adds that even though she is shamed, she still has a sense of loyalty, he then asks her why the king has never summoned her.
She insults him again by calling him a "Dishonorable Worm" and says that it is all because of his poisonous falsities he spewed about, she also adds that he stands aside so that she can personally ask the king about her so-called crimes.
Citadel of the Frozen Cliff[]
After Dark Cacao Cookie was pushed off by Dark Choco Cookie, Affogato Cookie became the new ruler of the Dark Cacao Kingdom. Caramel Arrow Cookie sees this, and quickly runs up to help Dark Cacao.
After Affogato Cookie is defeated by Gingerbrave and his team, Affogato Cookie gets notice that the Great Wall used to protect the Dark Cacao Kingdom is being breached; he attempts to escape from the Dark Cacao Kingdom. Caramel Arrow Cookie leads Dark Cacao Cookie to the throne room, Dark Cacao Cookie mentions how he [Affogato Cookie] will be at the throne. However, Caramel Arrow Cookie notices that Affogato Cookie is retreating and makes comment to Dark Cacao Cookie that Affogato Cookie is escaping and she will chase after and take care of him, but gets stopped by Dark Cacao Cookie, saying to leave Affogato Cookie be, and that they have more important matters on hand.
Rice Cake Incident[]
On one fine spring day, when pink cherry blossom petals danced to the warm spring breeze, Moon Rabbit Cookie was hard at work, making rice cakes. Sugar petal rice cakes, to be precise! Some honey, some petals, lots of love. Soon enough, Moon Rabbit Cookie was surrounded by heaps of rice cakes.
The next instant, Moon Rabbit Cookie turned into a giant rice cake bunny! Witnesses claimed the bunny was so massive that it covered the entire sky, and its big red eyes filled with rage were more horrifying than Dark Enchantress Cookie herself. Naturally, Affogato Cookie and Caramel Arrow Cookie stopped fighting immediately. After all, how could they go on? And so the rice cake party on that fine spring day concluded in peace.
Fanon[]
As it is now after the Heros of Dark Cacao update, AffoCara seems to be a popular ship in the community. The two have plenty of Fan Art and Fanfictions, and a fair amount of supporters. A majority of people think this ship has a lot of potential, while some others do not; these people who do not, tend to highlight the fact that they are enemies; and unlike other ships, have something real against each other than a simple dislike, it being Caramel Arrow Cookie feeling betrayed and disgusted towards Affogato Cookie, and Affogato Cookie feeling jealousy towards Caramel Arrow Cookie. Some others just think the trope "Enemies to Lovers" is quite unwarranted and cliché, also resulting in controversy to the ship.
Fanfictions tend to make Enemies to Lovers stories, or an Alternate Universe where there was no war in the Dark Cacao Kingdom. In Fan Art, they are mostly depicted teasing, or just complimenting each other. This ship currently has over 30 works on AO3.
This ship rivals Affogato and Caramel's ships with Dark Cacao and Dark Choco.
