Ahu & Xin Ya is the family ship between Ahu and Xin Ya from the To Be Hero X fandom.
Canon[]
PV[]
Xin Ya is still in the hospital after an accident (revealed in the donghua to be the fight against Phobiaclone). The one who saved her is her great hero, Ahu. She imagines herself being Ahu's partner in heroics.
Ahu arrives and knocks on her door. Xin Ya excitedly gets out of bed and accidentally runs into the door. Wanting to look nice, she fixes her hair using her reflection in the door as a mirror. The door opens and Ahu arrives in a humanoid dog form with a cake. Xin Ya's eyes glimmer as Ahu kneels down to give the cake to her.
Ahu suddenly reverts back to his base form, a normal dog. Xin Ya is initially worried but sighs in relief. Ahu shows off his various forms to Xin Ya. Xin Ya says that Ahu is her great hero, as well as everyone else's. Ahu's form changes based on what people want him to be.
Ahu frantically looks around the room for the cake and realizes it's been knocked over. Xin Ya picks Ahu up and hugs him. She tells him it doesn't matter as long as Ahu is there with her. Ahu blushes and wags his tail. He says he'll always be there to protect her.
Donghua[]
Episode 23[]
Ahu used to work at a circus until he bit a child, which resulted in the circus owner abandoning him. Xin Ya adopts Ahu and when she hears that Ahu doesn't like collars/leashes, she puts a necktie on him instead. She brings Ahu home.
When Xin Ya finds out about the TREEMAN Corporation having the residents sign contracts, Xin Ya realizes it's a scam and sneaks into TREEMAN's hideout to steal the contracts back. Ahu distracts Phobiaclone while Xin Ya grabs the contracts, but Xin Ya accidentally makes some noise and they flee.
Xin Ya gives the contracts to Ahu and wants him to escape while she distracts Phobiaclones. Ahu is found by more Phobiaclones and beaten up. After he is saved by Hero X, Ahu rushes over to Xin Ya's location. Their enemies are now not only the last Phobiaclone, but also Nice.
Phobiaclone attempts to kill Xin Ya with an axe but Ahu finally believes in himself and with Xin Ya providing his first Trust Value, Ahu becomes a hero. He grabs the axe and decapitates Phobiaclone. Nice, who has become panicked after Fear splattered onto him, flees when drones arrive.
Ahu visits Xin Ya at the hospital and is happy when she wakes up. He gives her a letter from the residents and reveals that he is able to speak now due to his Trust Value. Ahu has quickly risen to Rank 8.
Episode 24[]
Hero X tells Ahu that the Heroes Affairs Commission controls heroes by controlling the agencies and refers to the heroes as chess pieces. Ahu says he won't be manipulated so easily, but X points out Ahu lying about defeating Phobiaclone to which Ahu defends that he was protecting Xin Ya.
Fanon[]
Xin Ya, despite being told about Ahu being aggressive due to his history of having bitten a child, didn’t hesitate at all to open Ahu’s cage and pick him up. She was considerate of Ahu’s avoidance of collars and leashes so she used a necktie instead.
Ahu put up with Xin Ya’s attempts to make him a hero, even when wearing costumes. Despite always being considered a hero by Xin Ya, Ahu never believed in himself. He only finally believes in himself and becomes Xin Ya’s hero when Xin Ya’s life is in danger. He also lies about being the one to defeat all of the Phobiaclones in order to get stronger to protect Xin Ya.
