Airacee is the femslash ship between Airachnid and Arcee from the Transformers fandom.
Canon[]
Pre-Series[]
Arcee is making her way back from a battle, when she is suddenly coated in spider like webbing. She is taken to an unknown location, tied up, when Airachnid enters the room. She tells her to get comfortable, since she'll be here awhile, and scratches her face.
After a torture session, Airachnid says that Arcee's resilience is quite impressive, for an Autobot. She guesses that Arcee will never crack no matter what she does, but Arcee just answers with a sneer. Airachnid sees this as a confirmation and has the vehicons bring in Arcee's partner, Tailgate. Arcee demands to know what she did to him, but Airachnid hasn't done anything...yet. She threatens to offline Tailgate if Arcee doesn't give her what she wants, but Arcee insists that she doesn't know the attack coordinates. Airachnid doesn't believe her and kills Tailgate. Airachnid is about to kill Arcee, when luckily Bubmblebee and Cliffjumper arrive to save her.
Season 1[]
PREDATORY
Arcee and Jack are following a possible Energon trail, when they see a crash landing site. She suddenly gets a flashback, and realizes who the ship belongs to. She tells Jack to stay behind as she follows a trail, getting several more flashes. She eventually finds who she's looking for, Airachnid, about to attack a human. She attacks her before she has the chance, and the two confront each other. Airachnid asks if Arcee is still holding a grudge, since the wars been over for a long time. Arcee tells her to tell that to the Deceptacons, but Airachnid's gone solo to work on her hobby. Arcee had seen the "tropy's" Airachnid was referring to, severed heads of alien species. Airachnid says she has a slot for human, but Arcee won't let that happen.
The two fight, till Jack arrives, and Arcee is able to briefly get the upper hand. Airachnid comes to, and comments on Arcee loosing her partners, as they both know what happened to Tailgate and Cliffjumper. She smarmily says that Arcee should be asking if it's her at this point, but Arcee just wants Jack to get out of there before Airachnid can add him to her collection. Jack runs, but Arcee is still trapped by Airachnid's webbing. Airachnid mocks Arcee, still intending to offline her, but not before she adds Jack to her collection. She then leaves Arcee behind, off to hunt Jack.
Airachnid is just about to kill Jack, when Arcee arrives and punches her in the face. The two fight, Arcee clearly having the advantage. She throws Airachnid halfway across the forest, and goes to free Jack, when she hears a mechanical whirring. She sees Airachnid tunnel through the ground to escape, and is unable to follow her.

Airacee is a smaller ship in the Transformers fandom, even among Prime fans. As despite them being each others main enemy, they're screen time drops after season 2. Though it did gain a small following during their limited shared screen time. As the ship appealed to many who enjoy "Enemies to Lovers" ships. As there aren't as many femslash ships that have that dynamic, it did have a bit more appeal to some femslash fans.
On AO3, Airacee is the second most written ship for Airachnid and the eleventh most written for Arcee. There are currently 25+ written works.
