Akiairi is the het ship between Akito Shinonome and Airi Momoi from the Project SEKAI fandom.
Canon[]
Airi is a third-year student at Miyamasuzaka Girls Academy, whereas Akito is a second-year student at Kamiyama High School. Airi is part of the idol unit MORE MORE JUMP! while Akito on the other hand is part of a street music group, Vivid BAD Squad. Both Airi and Akito are really outgoing and charismatic people, but Akito's personality tends to differ depending on how close he is to his peers. The two met in middle school, and she would always greet him when she visited the Shinonome household. Airi often has positive things to say about Akito, and she finds that Akito, just like his older sister, can't leave people alone when they're in need of help.
Airi and Akito met in middle school coincidentally, considering the fact that Airi is a close friend of Akito's older sister, Ena, who is the same age as her. Ena and Airi became friends when Airi stood up for Ena when she was being made fun of for her appearance on a TV show. Ever since then, they have not had many interactions with each other. Airi constantly reminds Akito to take care of Ena for her.
Akito and Airi have an area conversation in Scramble Crossing. They run into each other, and Airi says it's good to see Akito. Akito thanks her and brings up that he heard Airi formed a new group and returned to being an idol. Airi explains that a lot happened from when she quit being an idol to the present and that she made a lot of people worry about her. She mentions that Ena never brings it up when the two talk and asks if Ena is just being nice. Airi and Akito both apologize, Airi for making things awkward and Akito for the way Ena behaves. Airi tells Akito not to worry about it, and she thinks to herself how Akito is such a good little brother.
The Sounds of a Summer Festival![]
In episode 5 of "The Sounds of a Summer Festival!", Akito and Airi met up when Akito and his partner Touya were preparing to perform at the Shibuya Summer Festival venue. Airi is surprised to see him, as they introduce Touya and Shizuku to one another. They chat and also update one another about their current whereabouts, and Airi finds out that Akito is a member of Vivid BAD Squad before they part ways.

In Airi's 4-star card's side story 'Unyielding Indomitable Spirit Side Story (Part 2)', Airi goes into detail with Ena, Mizuki, and Shizuku about her encounters with Akito when she was in junior high. It is also revealed in a flashback that Airi had made a promise to Akito with the agreement that Akito would look after Ena. Airi assumes that Akito is like Ena in the way that he would never leave behind someone in need.
This event correlates with their third Kizuna rank title, referring to their promise.
