Akikasa is the slash ship between Akito Shinonome and Tsukasa Tenma from the Project SEKAI fandom.
Canon[]
Akito and Tsukasa are both students in Kamiyama High School, with Tsukasa being a third-year student, and Akito being a second-year student. Both of them are an inspiration/friend to Touya Aoyagi. They both have sisters, however Tsukasa has a much better relationship with his. They both dislike a certain kind of vegetable, Akito dislikes carrots while Tsukasa dislikes green peppers.
The two were introduced to each other through Touya. At first, Akito wanted to avoid the infamous troublemaker duo "Weirdo Wombo Combo" around school. Because he only knew the two by their last names, and from Touya's favorable word, Akito didn’t expect one of the aforementioned oddballs to be his partner's respected upperclassman. Akito eventually respects Tsukasa more. In the "Kamiyama High Festival!" event story, after Touya explained his past and his respect towards Tsukasa, Akito muses that he should also express his thanks to the upperclassman.
After learning about Tsukasa's fear of bugs, Akito would randomly tease the other for fun and tell him that there are bugs on him or in his clothes, even when there actually aren't. They bicker sometimes, but not as much as some other pairings.
Initial Cards[]
The two boys interact in Tsukasa's "Headed For Stardom!" card's first side story. Akito looks for a nice place to nap at school but finds that Tsukasa is already there. Akito calls him a nuisance but decides to wind him up since he has time. He asks Tsukasa why he's all hunched up, to which Tsukasa claims he is confronting a spider preventing him from enjoying his lunch. Akito asks if Tsukasa is afraid of spiders, and Tsukasa denies it even though it's evident with how bothered he is by such a small spider.
Akito thinks about how he was going to tease Tsukasa, but that it's kind of anticlimactic when Tsukasa is shrieking about a spider. Akito catches the spider for Tsukasa and puts it in a bush, and he shares his lunch with Akito as a token of appreciation for saving him. Akito notices how unnecessarily fancy-looking Tsukasa's lunch looks, and he takes a cheesecake. Akito eats the cheesecake with Tsukasa before leaving.
A Gentleman Thief's Thrilling White Day?![]
Akito is invited by Mizuki to go to a chocolate factory where, coincidentally, Tsukasa is going to put on a performance as a chocolate thief. He begins his performance in Chapter 4 of the event, and Akito immediately recognises his voice. When Tsukasa starts his performance, Mizuki sees him and says it's "Akito's lucky day." He replies, saying Mizuki's acting as if he brought Tsukasa to the chocolate factory himself.
Later, when Tsukasa's acting partner Hamano starts crying onstage, Mizuki offers up an idea - making chocolates - and he agrees, inviting both Mizuki and Akito to help him. Akito says he can't really refuse, and he agrees to help. Tsukasa tells Akito to cheer Hamano up backstage while he and Mizuki make the chocolates. Backstage, when Hamano asks who Akito is, he hesitantly says he's Tsukasa's "acquaintance." After listening to what made Hamano sad all of a sudden, Akito does his best to comfort him. Once Hamano is all cheered up, they all finish the performance together.
After the show, when Tsukasa says that improvising for that long is an achievement, Akito agrees saying that he'd be confused on what to say for just one line. At the end of their time at the factory, Akito and Mizuki give Tsukasa some chocolates, which make him so happy he starts crying, saying he has wonderful juniors.
The Climax! Kamiyama Cheer Squad![]
In Akito's "There's No Time To Lose!" card's first side story, Tsukasa repeatedly seeks out Akito for the Kamiyama sports festival's cheer team as he believes he'd be perfect for the team, even to the point of going into Akito's classroom to look for him. Akito tries to avoid being on the team by running away and hiding from Tsukasa, and is only caught when he goes to see Touya outside his class and finds Tsukasa there too. Eventually, he agrees to help out and joins the team.
In Chapter 6 of the event story, the first years' scavenger hunt begins, and Akito finds his assignment on what he needs to get: a piece of paper with the words "someone with a very loud voice" on it. Immediately thinking of Tsukasa, he freezes up, and Rui says he looks flustered about something. While Akito's frozen in shock, Mizuki overtakes him after completing their assignment, and Akito runs over to Tsukasa for help to complete his. He tells him to climb onto his shoulders and, confused, he does so. Akito quickly catches up to Mizuki as Tsukasa rides piggyback on his shoulders and they finish the race in first place.
At This Festival Colored By Twilight[]
In Chapter 2 of the event story, the two bicker over whose performance at the festival will be better. However, they’ve been shown to have mutual respect for eachother and their shows. Later on, Akito says he looks forward to WxS’ performance, and in the “The Right Words To Throw” card story Tsukasa compliments Vivid Bad Squad’s show, saying it was great and that their powerful song filled him with energy, to which Akito says that he thought ‘he’s always this energetic’ while smiling. In Wonderlands x Showtime’s performance later on, Tsukasa performs a stunt that launches him into the air, to everyone’s surprise. Akito says it’s cool, and also compliments him and his group’s acting with Kohane.
Akito and Tsukasa also have some area conversations together. At Kamiyama High School, Akito notices Tsukasa practicing his poses. Tsukasa tells Akito he's welcome to stay and watch for as long as he likes, and he is surprised when Akito leaves in a hurry. Also at Kamiyama High School, Akito asks if Tsukasa hates bugs. After Tsukasa confirms the fact, Akito claims there is something on Tsukasa's back that looks like a centipede. Tsukasa freaks out, and Akito leaves after pointing out that it was just a wrinkle in Tsukasa's uniform. Tsukasa then angrily asks if Akito actually thought there was a centipede or if he was just messing with him.

- In Akito's second birthday card's first side story, the members of Wonderlands x Showtime surprise Akito at Kamiyama High's courtyard by putting on a play about Vivid BAD SQUAD's formation, and Tsukasa took the role of Akito in the story. Later in his birthday message to Akito, he confidently asks if his interpretation was spot-on, and suggests that Akito could learn a few things from him.

Fanon[]
Akikasa is less popular compared to Akito and Tsukasa's more popular ships, AkiToya and RuiKasa respectively. Sometimes the shippers of Akikasa and TouKasa have a shared audience. Some ship the three characters together as a poly relationship named Kouhai Sandwich. Akikasa is also sometimes shipped alongside Ruitoya. There's a decent amount of fan art for Akikasa as well as fan fiction, and the ship currently has 700+ works on AO3 in total.
Some who are against the ship have accused Tsukasa and Akito not having proper chemistry beyond "Akito teasing Tsukasa and getting annoyed over his antics" or claimed that their relationship is toxic due to Akito's initial dislike of Tsukasa. Mainly in the Western fandom, some Akikasa shippers have even received death threats and gotten harassed over the ship on both Twitter and through the game's friend request system.
