Akito Shinonome is a character from the Project SEKAI fandom.

Akito is a second-year high school student as well as a member of the street music group Vivid BAD SQUAD and its sub-unit BAD DOGS. He is a passionate singer, a summer festival he attended with his sister kickstarting his interest in street music. Akito respects any passionate person and hates half-hearted people. He views himself as the weakest link of his group, overworking himself in desperate attempts to keep up and improve. Akito has a polite and and “nice guy” facade, only dropping it when with people he’s familiar with. Despite his intimidating appearance and blunt nature, deep down he’s a genuine and dependable guy. Just like his sister, he fits the tsundere trope.

Fanon[]
Although generally a very popular character thanks to his realistic, complex character and relatability, as well as his character design and singing voice. Akito also has a fair amount of vocal haters. While some 'jokingly’ hate him for shallow reasons (such as "he's a ginger" or his fashion sense), many dislike him for his tsundere attitude, the way he treated Kohane in their unit's Main Story or how he treats his elder sister (and vice versa, some people dislike Ena for how she treats Akito).
