Al Ghul Sisters is the family ship between Talia al Ghul and Nyssa al Ghul from the DC Comics and Arrow fandoms.

Canon

Lian Yu

Nyssa joins Oliver on Lian Yu in order to rescue his allies from Talia and her allies. Talia initially confronts Oliver, but Nyssa arrives, calling to her. Talia becomes outnumbered and lets out a smoak bomb to escape. Talia heads to the temple, when she hears the prisoners breaking out. She turns to go after them, but Nyssa appears and says not to bother with them. As the two of them have unfinished business. Talia says that it was foolish for her to give up the Demon's Head, but Nyssa says that Talia's selfishness forced her to grow up alone. Talia says she had to forge her own path, as their father would have never passed his title to a woman. Nyssa says that she still left her alone to suffer, and Talia asks if she wants to settle the score now. Nyssa says she's stands with her friends and Talia says that their father would be ashamed of her for siding with his murderer. Nyssa says that he was always ashamed of her, and Talia's soldier's step forward. Talia tells them not interfere, the two then pulling out swords and fighting. Nyssa then beats Talia and holds her sword to her throat. Talia tells her to do it, as their father would have wanted it, but Nyssa just knocks her out instead.

Fadeout

Talia and Nyssa both attend Oliver's funeral. They share an umbrella and Talia gives condolences on the passing of Oliver, calling him Nyssa's husband. Nyssa says that she had their marriage erased, but Talia says that feelings cannot be so easily erased. Nyssa says that she had no feelings for Oliver, and that they're marriage was Ra's idea of a joke. Meant to torture her. Talia says that they're father only ever wanted a normal life for her and Nyssa says she's lived one far more normal than the one he designed for her. Sara then comes over and thanks Nyssa for comings, Nyssa then introducing Sara to Talia.

Nyssa and Talia's relationship is not often explored by fans in transformative works. This is due to Nyssa not being used all that often in comics, especially after the New 52. Meaning that even some fans of Talia do not know she exists. Even when the two were in Arrow, they rarely interacted. Their biggest scene being the series finale, meaning that fans had to wait for the show to end for a very significant interaction that wasn't just the two fighting.

• After Talia was killed by Joker in the Arkhamverse, Nyssa rebelled against her father and those loyal to him. Believing that his ways and long use of the Lazarus Pit caused her sister's death. Nyssa references Talia as the person that both she and Batman love when she swore upon her late sister that she and the league will leave Gotham alone. Once she becomes its new leader.
