Alanna is the femslash ship between Alice Liddell and Anna/The Huntress from the American McGee's Alice and Dead by Daylight fandoms.
Canon[]
Alice and Anna have never met each other as both of them are from different universes and franchises. Both of them are darker reinterpretations of classic Alice in Wonderland characters. Alice is Alice herself after she went mad. While Anna is a serial killer with a White Rabbit motif. Additionally, Anna has a costume resembling the Queen of Hearts. In canon, none of the two characters have romantic or other relationships with other characters within their own universe.
Both of them originated in two horror franchises. Alice Liddell appeared in the psychological horror game series Alice released on October 6th, 2000. And the Huntress appeared from the online multiplayer horror game Dead by Daylight's sub-story, A Lullaby for the Dark, released on July 27th, 2017.

The pairing was sprung into existence by OverlordCiel627 on DeviantArt, inspired by other fans of Dead by Daylight shipping the killers with characters from other media.
In the Dead by Daylight community, especially on Amino, there is a wide variety of buddy and romance shippings seen with survivors and killers.[1]In that community, Undying Lullaby thought of an idea to pair the Huntress with another character outside the DBD universe. Rather than a typical romance ship, Undying pictures the Huntress being paired with Alice Liddell, from American McGee's Alice games, as a close friend/sister pair.
There is chemistry between the two Lullaby found very intriguing. As demonstrated, Alice and Anna both share many common traits that, for fans of the ship, proves their deep connection. Some of this similarities are that they are unstable orphans; that they are survivors against a harsh world; their fondness for animals; and that both have adventurous streaks. While Alice originally had a sister and Anna never had one, the two treat each other like sisters, in which she considered it as "adopting each other." Chronologically, Alice is older, since she was born in 1856. Meanwhile, Anna was born possibly somewhere in ~1885. So, she would've been 50 in World War I, when she met Anna. Despite Alice constantly stating she's older, Anna makes fun of her short height by calling her Little Sister, Little Alice, and Midget Alice (Alice is 5ft. and Anna is 7ft.).
