Alasdora is the het ship between Nymphadora Tonks and Alastor Moody from the Harry Potter fandom.
Canon[]
Alastor "Mad-Eye" Moody was Tonks's mentor during her time training as an Auror. Later, whilst they were both in the Order of the Phoenix, their friendly relationship continued. Despite Moody's surly attitude and behaviour, Tonks was always at ease with him, making funny comments at his opinions and lectures, such as the one he gave Harry Potter on elementary wand-safety the night the Advance Guard escorted him to Grimmauld Place. Other witches and wizards found him too intimidating and weren't brave enough to tease him openly, but because the pair were quite close, Tonks didn't mind laughing at him.
For his part, Moody was openly fond of Tonks. Harry once noted that she had been his favourite during their time together at the Ministry. When Tonks was injured during her duel with Bellatrix Lestrange in the Department of Mysteries, Mad-Eye crawled his way to her side in an effort to help her regain consciousness. He does this despite having been injured himself by Antonin Dolohov, showing how much he cares about Tonks' safety. Tonks was devastated by Moody's death in 1997, openly crying in front of the Weasley family and rest of the Order of the Phoenix members.

Alasdora is considered a rarepair in the Harry Potter fandom. Fans often do not think to pair them together because, despite their shared history, they do not have very many scenes together. There is also the added struggle of the suggested age gap between the two characters. Although Moody's exact age is unknown, there is a 30 year age difference between the two actors in the films, which is what most fans picture when thinking about the characters.
Those who do ship this pairing like the shared past they have with each other. Fans often focus on their days in the Ministry, and Moody's influence over Tonks. They like the fact that Tonks is one of the few people who doesn't take Moody too seriously, and that they have a teasing dynamic. This banter typically continues, even when they are shown to be in a romantic relationship.
There are currently over 30 works for Alasdora on AO3. It is slightly more popular as a platonic pairing, with over 40 works. It is Moody's sixth most popular ship, but does not make Tonks' top ten. The biggest rival for this ship is Remadora, Tonks' canon ship with another member of the Order of the Phoenix.
