Albert Wesker is a character from the Resident Evil fandom.
Character[]
When Wesker was a child, he was one of 13 other children to partake in Project W, or Wesker Plan. Children born to parents of superior intellect would be taken from their families and collected. All children were given “Wesker” as a surname. Wesker specialized in biotechnology and bioengineering, and was an accomplished virologist. As Wesker grew older, he became cold and calculating, in addition to becoming power-hungry for dominance over everything; his endgame being to become god of the new world. The only loyalty Wesker held was to himself.
Once Wesker was injected with the prototype virus, a unique strain of the t-Virus, he became a global threat. Wesker gained superhuman strength, speed, endurance and longevity, in addition to regenerative healing.

Canon[]
Unnamed ex-lover/Ms. Muller
Next to nothing is known of Wesker’s relationship with his ex-lover, only known as Ms. Muller in game files. What is known is that Wesker and Ms. Muller met in the United States in the early 90s when Wesker is roughly 30 years old, and Ms. Muller in her early 20s. She was an émigré, though had returned back to her home country of Edonia by 1992, pregnant with their son, Jake, who Wesker was unaware of. During Jake’s childhood, he couldn’t understand why his mother still loved Wesker, the man who he believed as a “deadbeat” for abandoning them. Before Ms. Muller died from an unknown illness in the early 2000s, she told Jake in a note she left for him to not hate his father, as she believed Wesker loved him and was thinking of him.

In 1996, Wesker and Chris met at the newly founded S.T.A.R.S, a division of the Raccoon Police Department. Wesker serving as captain of Alpha Team and Chris as his subordinate. Wesker worked as a double agent for Umbrella, giving them information on any police investigations. Following Wesker’s betrayal in July of 1998, Chris became more hardened and serious in his investigations of Umbrella. Having believed Wesker died in the 1998 Mansion Incident, only for months later learning this to be false, Chris combats bioterrorism and hunts for any leads on his former captain. After years of crossing paths and battling, Chris and Wesker’s 11 year hatred for each other comes to a head in March of 2009 in which Chris ultimately defeats Wesker once and for all.

Wesker and Leon have no canon interaction. They know of the other, but have never met each other. Their only connection is through mentioning each other. In Resident Evil 4, Leon knows Ada Wong is working for Wesker, and in Separate Ways, Wesker wants Leon killed for getting in the way of his plans.

During a team up with Chris Redfield, Jill and he get a lead on Wesker in the autumn of 2006. Jill sacrifices herself to save Chris from Wesker, although she and Wesker end up surviving. For the next three years, Jill is under Wesker’s complete control. By March of 2009, she is freed of Wesker’s control and assists in his ultimate defeat.
