Alberuno is the family ship between Alberto Scorfano and Bruno Madrigal from the Luca and Encanto fandoms.

Canon

In Pixar's Luca, Alberto teaches Luca that whenever he has fearful thoughts about something, he tells him that it's just his "Bruno talking" and that he should yell "Silencio, Bruno!" to make them go away.

Later in the movie, Luca finds out that his father abandoned him since he considered him a failure. A similar thing happened to Bruno from Encanto, since his family also abandoned him to the point of refusing to speak his name.

An earlier draft of Luca confirmed that the writers did indeed consider naming Alberto's deadbeat father "Bruno". Director Enrico Casarosa, however, decided against it, preferring to keep it as a "silly name Alberto gave to his insecurities".

Because both Alberto and Bruno are from two separate Disney universes, the two have never met in canon. Disney is yet to feature them in the same media that allows characters from other Disney franchises to meet in the same universe. Or at least allows people to feature them in the same team through one of their crossover games.

Fanon

This crossover familyship started with Alberto's iconic quote being "Silenzio Bruno" and Disney releasing a film with a character that no one talks about called, Bruno Madrigal in the same year. With very little knowledge on Alberto's father and there being those who like to portray Bruno as someone's father, it made sense to portray the two as father and son. While turning the quote from Pixar's Luca into a coping mechanism that Alberto uses to cope with him being left on his own. With most versions of the "Papa Bruno AU" having him place his child in the care of another, it made it easy for people to use a similar idea for the crossover ship. Since Bruno supposedly ran away from his family for ten years, it gave fans plenty of opportunity to figure out how he could've fathered a child in that time. However, the movie implies that Bruno did try running away, but a throwaway line confirms that the mountains were too high and sleek for him to climb, making the idea of him going to Italy for ten years extremely unlikely. Though the idea of Bruno adopting Alberto, however unlikely the scenario may be, would solve a lot of problems: Bruno is the only one in his generation without a child, Alberto has no father and Massimo adopting Alberto at the end of his movie can be conveniently ignored. Though some also ship Bruno with Massimo in order to give Alberto "two dads for the price of one".

Some also ship them as friends when they don't want to portray them as family. Some versions of the crossover familyship has Alberto resenting Bruno for leaving him, while Bruno is left trying to make amends with the young sea monster. Alberto's sea monster form and ability is sometimes featured as his gift from the miracle candle when he is portrayed as a member of the Madrigal Family.

A much earlier version of this crossover, however, was simply of Alberto saying his iconic line to someone who just happened to be called Bruno. Should Bruno and Alberto meet as strangers in a crossover, people like to highlight the initial awkwardness. Along with having Alberto say "Silencio, Bruno" as the key words that gets Encanto characters to start singing "We Don't Talk About Bruno." The idea is mostly seen in Tumblr posts and other websites that allows people to showcase their fanworks.
