Albeven is the slash ship between Albedo and Venti from the Genshin Impact fandom.
Canon[]
While they don't have many interactions outside of the event that introduced Windblume and the Irodori Festival, Albedo and Venti are closely related through the lore.
While Albedo doesn't have a voice line talking about Venti, Venti does have one about him. It briefly talks about Albedo "losing control" in Mondstadt, something that he himself had once mentioned in his story quest. While this could be seen as a reason for Venti to resent him, since he is Mondstadt's archon, he instead mentions that he will not interfere with anything.
Windblume[]
During the Windblume festival, Timaeus tells Venti and the Traveler that Albedo is in the camp situated in Dragonspine, where he is often found. At the mention of that, Venti says that the mountain is a romantic location with no additional explanation. Note that Albedo is often associated with the Dragonspine mountain, and so that Venti's line could be seen as a romantic interaction for the ship.
Additionally, in the description of one of the Windblume's game, Albedo mentioned often hearing the sound of the lyre while sketching outdoors. Assuming that the one who was playing the lyre was Venti as he is Mondstadt's most esteemed bard, it is specified that Albedo has heard it enough times to be able to play it from memory even though he had never played the instrument.
They have other small interactions through the event.
Irodori Festival[]
The Irodori Festival is the canon event with the most interactions between Albedo and Venti.
Albedo is commissioned to make paintings for the festival. He mentions that he needs inspiration for his paintings to be able to draw them. But even a while after he and Traveler explores Ritou, he still says that he lacks inspiration. But after meeting Venti there, when Paimon mentions the fact that Albedo should start completing the portrait, he says that he finally found inspiration in Venti and that now he will be able to paint the portrait faster by using Venti as a model. He then mentions paying back Venti by buying him food at the restaurant they're at, which Venti enthusiastically accept. For the other models of his portraits, like Kaedehara Kazuha or Kamisato Ayaka, Albedo doesn't make a big deal about inspirations, but just briefly ask them to be his models. This shows him giving more importance to Venti.
Fanon[]
The ship is lesser known through the fanbase unlike popular ships of the two like Kaebedo for Albedo and XiaoVen for Venti. It nonetheless has a fanbase mostly constituted by people who like Genshin lore.
Venti and Albedo could be seen as opposite attracts as their personalities are the total opposite. Additionally for this trope, their origins are also opposites.
A popular trope through fanfictions and fanart of the ship is the corrupted trope, in which Venti's form is inspired by the upside-down statue of him found in a quest, and Albedo is corrupted by Durin's blood and losing control.
It currently has less than 100 fan fictions on Archive of Our Own. Even though the fandom tends to agree on a more angst point of view on the ship, the most used tag on Archive of Our Own for it is fluff, the total opposite.
