Alex x Carter is the slash ship between Alex Browning and Carter Horton from the Final Destination fandom.

Canon

Both Alex and Carter were students of Mt. Abraham High School. They were rivals, and frequently fought with each other. Both of them were to go on the school's annual field trip to Paris. However, soon after they boarded the plane, Alex had a vision of the plane exploding soon after takeoff, and began warning the passengers. Carter, believing Alex to be joking, began to fight with him, and they were both removed from the plane, along with several others, including Carter's girlfriend Terry. After the plane departed, Carter and Alex began to fight, and were separated by the guards. The plane then exploded, killing everyone on board. They were later interviewed by two FBI agents.

Both Alex and Carter attended the memorial service. Carter still refused to admit that Alex had saved him, and he told Alex that he didn't owe him anything. Following Tod's death, which was deemed a suicide, Carter was driving with Terry when he spotted Alex with Clear at a cafe. He then went up to confront Alex, much to Terry's chagrin. She then stormed out on to the road and was killed by a speeding bus.

After the death of Valerie Lewton, Alex reunited with the remaining survivors, Clear, Carter and Billy. Alex then explained that death was killing everyone in the order in which they were supposed to die on the plane. He then revealed that Carter would be next. Frustrated, Carter than began driving recklessly. He then stalled his car on the railway tracks, wanting to die on his own terms. However, as he began having second thoughts, he realised that he was trapped in the car. However, Alex managed to save him just in time. After he was saved, Billy began insulting Carter, but was then beheaded by flying shrapnel from under the train. Alex then realised that death had skipped Carter. After Alex and Clear nearly died, they believed that death had skipped them as well.

Six months later, Alex, Claire and Carter travelled to Paris to celebrate their victory over death. While they were at a restaurant, Alex began seeing omens hinting at his death. He then left the table and was almost hit by a swerving bus, which crashed into a pole, which flew into the air and knocked a large sign off its hinges, which then swung down at Alex. However, Carter pushed Alex out of the way just in time, saving him. As Carter asked who the next person was, the sign swung back down and killed and crushed him.

In an alternate ending, Alex died after his Toyota Corolla ignited. Clear gave birth to their son several months later, putting a stop to death by creating new life, thereby allowing both her and Carter to survive. But after Carter perished in avaria, and girl Clear alone remain.
