Alex x Tod is the slash ship between Alex Browning and Tod Waggner from the Final Destination fandom.
Canon[]
Tod, his brother George and Alex were childhood friends. All three of them were students of Mt. Abraham High School. All three of them were to go on the school's annual field trip to Paris. While at the airport, Tod met with Alex in the bathroom, where he told the latter that he planned to hook up with fellow students Blake and Christa. When the began boarding, Alex began to have a bad feeling about the flight. This forced Tod to push him along, ruining his chance to hook up with Blake and Christa. When they sat next to each other, Tod stared angrily at Alex. However, soon after that, Alex had a vision of the plane exploding after takeoff, and began warning the passengers. Carter, believing Alex to be joking, began to fight with him, and they were both removed from the plane, along with several others, including Tod, while the rest of the students, including George, remained on the plane.
Soon after the plane departed, Alex and Carter began fighting again, stopping once the plane exploded, killing everyone onboard, leaving Alex, Tod, Carter, Clear, Carter's girlfriend Terry, Tod, Billy and teacher Valerie Lewton as the survivors. They were later interviewed by two FBI agents. When he realised that George had died in the explosion, Tod nearly cried. When his parents arrived to pick him up, they began blaming Alex for George's death. They then stopped seeing each other.
A month after the tragedy, the school held a memorial service for the victims. George attended the service, where he met with Alex. While there, he gave a farewell speech. He also made plans with Alex to go on a trip together after his parents had gotten over George's death. That night, while in the bathroom, Death went for him by causing a toilet leak. This caused Tod to slip on a puddle of water while grabbing clothes of a clothesline, resulting in him falling in the bathtub with the clothesline coiled around his neck. He struggled to exit the bathtub due to the shampoo and conditioner that was spilling into the bathtub as the clothesline began to tighten around his neck, strangling him. After a failed attempt at reaching for the pair of scissors on the sink, he tried untying the clothesline, but failed, resulting in his death by asphyxiation. Death then covered its tracks by causing the water to go down the drain, resulting in his death being reported as a suicide. Following his death, his parents, believing that he had taken his own life out of guilt over George's death in the tragedy, began blaming Alex for his death as well. Alex, refusing to believe that Tod would take his own life, later broke into the funeral home with Clear to see his body.

Alex x Tod is one of the most popular ships in the Final Destination fandom. The popularity of the ship is largely due to how close Tod and Alex were, and how the both survived the initial tragedy. The ship is mainly rivalled by Alex x Carter and Alex x Clear.
On AO3, Alex x Tod is the most written ship for Tod and second most written for Alex. It is also the third most written ship in the Final Destination (Movies) tag. There are currently 10+ written works.
