AliKari is the femslash ship between Alina Gray and Karin Misono from the Puella Magi Madoka Magica fandom.
Canon[]
Alina Gray is a famous artist in Kamihama City. When she was 8 years old her dog passed away, which lead her to become fascinated with the border between life and death, which she would go on to express in her artwork. Karin in contrast to Alina is a newbie artist, who seeks to create manga based on her favourite manga Magical Kirin, in hopes of her work bringing happiness to others. The two first met when forced to share a room for their art club and manga club, due to being the sole members of their clubs. Since the room was initially dedicated to Karin's manga club, Alina is under obligation to assist Karin with improving her artwork in exchange for the space, and while Alina is shown to be a very standoffish person who can give extremely harsh critic at times, it's often shown that Alina sees genuine promise in Karin's skills as an artist, seeing value in how earnest she is. For Karin's part, she is shown to deeply value Alina's advice, feeling that she truly takes her seriously, due to Alina giving her actual advice to improve her art rather than simply brushing her off.

Alina Gray and Karin Misono’s friendship has garnered several fans online, due to some seeing their dynamic as mutually beneficial. While Karin teaches Alina how to feel empathy, Alina teaches Karin how to improve her art, and her pragmatic way of thinking often gives Karin the exact advice she needs. This led to several people shipping them in a romantic relationship.
