Alien Trio is the Friend ship between Kish, Tart, and Pie in the Tokyo Mew Mew fandom.

Canon

Tokyo Mew Mew (2002)

The aliens Kish, Tart, and Pie grew up with their kind on a planet with a hazardous environment. Their ancestors had lived on earth but were forced to flee due to a mass extinction event, and they wished to return now that it was habitable again. To their surprise, they found another sapient population known as humans living on the earth, and found that they were also responsible for polluting the planet. The aliens thus wanted to claim their ancestral home back from the humans so that they could have a habitable planet to live on and wished to exact revenge against humanity for polluting their planet, and the aliens Kish, Tart, and Pie were assigned to this task.

The alien Kish was the first to arrive on earth, and was using chimera animals to attack humanity, but a group of heroes known as the mew mews were able to fight and defeat all of his chimera animals. Tart and Pie were then sent to help Kish and scolded him for repeatedly failing at his job. The two then joined Kish in repeatedly tasks against the mew mews, but repeatedly failed, although they were able to progress in awakening their leader Deep Blue. At one point, the three ate shaved ice together, and when deciding who had to attack the mews next, decided over a game of rock-paper-scissors, which Tart lost.

The aliens were able to awaken their leader Deep Blue in the body of Masaya Aoyama, the boyfriend of the mew mew Ichigo Momomiya. When Ichigo traveled to Deep Blue's lair to pursue him, Pie tried to stop her, but Tart turned on him and allowed her to go. Tart told Pie that he wanted the fighting to stop, and Pie, in turn, killed Tart. Kish also turned on Deep Blue to protect Ichigo whom he was in love with and was killed in the process. A beam of destruction later threatened the other four mew mews, and Pie sacrificed himself to save them. The three aliens were all revived when Ichigo used the Mew Aqua to undo the destruction, and the aliens departed from the earth. In the manga Tokyo Mew Mew 2020 Re-Turn, the aliens returned to the earth years later to work with the mew mews at Cafe Mew Mew.

Tokyo Mew Mew New

The aliens Kish, Tart, and Pie grew up together underground on a planet with a harsh environment and uninhabitable surface. Their ancestors were from earth and were forced to flee to avoid a mass extinction event, and the three aliens were tasked with reclaiming the earth from humanity and exacting revenge on them for polluting the planet. Kish was the first of the three to be sent to the earth and repeatedly attacked with chimera animals but kept failing due to a team of magical girls known as the mew mews. Tart and Pie then arrived and scolded Kish for his failure before joining the battle, though they also repeatedly failed.

After a mysterious figure known as the Blue Knight repeatedly saved the mew mew Ichigo in battle, Kish later realized he was the host of their dormant leader Deep Blue, and instructed Tart and Pie to not kill him. After getting Deep Blue to awaken, Kish wanted to stop him from harming Ichigo due to his crush on her, but Pie and Tart held him back. They all played different roles in the final battle, with Tart and Pudding collapsing in each others' arms, Kish dying to protect Ichigo, and Pie losing to Lettuce but sneaking away to stab Deep Blue and open a portal to their home world.

After learning that the Mew Aqua was inside of Deep Blue's body, Ichigo and Masaya used it to undo all of his damage. The Mew Aqua also made the surface of the alien's home planet inhabitable, and it subsequently revived Kish. Deep Blue departed after Ichigo and Masaya convinced him that humanity did not need to be destroyed. The aliens no longer needed the earth now that the surface of their planet was inhabitable, and the trio returned to their home after saying goodbye to the mew mews. They were later seen working on a strawberry farm together.

Fanon

The Alien Trio is a popular friendship in the Tokyo Mew Mew fandom. Kish and Pie have a lot of fangirls and Tart is often found to be adorable as well. Fans missed the trio in the sequel Tokyo Mew Mew á la Mode and were happy to see their return in Tokyo Mew Mew 2020 Re-Turn. Many fans take issue with the fact that Pie killed Tart in the original anime, but this event was exclusive to that particular adaptation and they were all revived anyway. Fans have also noted that all three aliens had a crush or ship tease with one of the mew mews. Kish had an unrequited crush on Ichigo, Tart had a mutual crush on Pudding, and Pie had some ship tease with Lettuce. In a romantic context, Kish and Pie are sometimes shipped together, but Tart usually is not shipped with either of them due to the age difference.
