Alithy is the femslash ship between Alice and Dorothy Gale from the Alice in Wonderland and The Wizard of Oz fandoms.

Canon

Famously, Alice and Dorothy both happened to travel into another world by accident, Alice ended up in Wonderland, while Dorothy ended up in Oz. There are official sequels of the original novels, written by the original authors where Alice and Dorothy return to their magical lands. The magical lands themselves have many similarities, but Wonderland has no set rules, almost driving Alice mad, while Oz has clear rules, even if they initially confuse Dorothy. But for the most part, Alice tries her hardest not to get affected by Wonderland, while Dorothy allows herself to grow into a more courageous and selfless girl because of her experiences in Oz.

In their most famous adaptations, the two girls wear similar cyan dresses, along with wearing white as part of their attire. During her adventures in the Looking Glass Lands, Alice is temporarily made queen, while Dorothy is initially mistaken for a witch (a magical ruler) during her first venture to Oz and later becomes an honorary princess after befriending Princess Ozma.

Alice owns a pet cat named Dinah, while Dorothy owns a pet dog named Toto and her family later adopts a kitten named "Eureka". Dorothy is a simple farm girl from Kansas, while Alice comes from an upper-class family in Britain. Regardless of their social status, they are both usually depicted as very kind, polite and curious. However, they will fight back if pushed too far, with Dorothy punching a lion to teach him a lesson, while Alice tears into the Queen of Hearts after being enlarged in size. In the Disney adaptation of Alice and the MGM adaptation of Oz, the two girls sing very similar songs about wanting to escape the hardships of their regular lives, unaware that their wish would be granted when they are transported into another dimension. In both movies, they wake up from their dreams, incidentally, both movies ignore that the magical lands did actually exist in the books: Oz is an actual physical country, while Wonderland appears to be a metaphysical setting that can be accessed through dreams.

Both are depicted as very young in the original books, but are depicted as at least a few years older in adaptations. Since both works are in the public domain, a number of authors have tried to cross the paths of the two girls, these are considered their own canon.

Fanon

Due to how similar, yet different both characters and their stories are, it became second nature to many fanfiction writers to figure out how they would interact. Many like to depict them bonding over their similar experiences and eventually becoming friends. Others like to depict them as being in a rivalry, largely because the two stories are similar, causing accusations of plagiarism and general fights which one is "better". Since both are considered staples of children's literature on both sides of the Atlantic, fights tend to be rather lighthearted.

In fanart, Alice is often based on her depiction in the Disney movie, while Dorothy is based on her Judy Garland portrayal more often then not. On AO3, the romantic tag for the ship currently has 13 fics, while the platonic tag has 5. At least one author also ships Dorothy with Alice Liddell from the American McGee games. A new romantic tag for Alice Kingsleigh/Dorothy Gale has come up with 1 fic.
