Allium Duo is the friendship between Ranboo and TommyInnit from the Dream SMP fandom.
Canon[]
At first, Tommy jokingly acted jealous of how close Ranboo was with Tubbo and claimed Ranboo "stole" Tubbo from him, also complaining of how Ranboo was older and taller than him. Tommy often expressed his dislike for Americans, subtly pointing out how Ranboo is American, going as far to call him a "filthy american".
The two are currently close friends and shared a mutual friendship with Tubbo. Overtime they've shared more softer moments between them, with a noticeable moment where Ranboo had chosen "Love" for the episode "Love or host" Tommy hosted on July, 9th 2022.[1]
They make content together on Twitch, YouTube and TikTok. Though, Tommy still jokingly acts like he hates Ranboo and on his alt Twitter account, he follows @Hatebooo, @ranboolivehater and @nomoreranboo, which are all Ranboo hate accounts.
The two have met up in real life, alongside Tubbo.
Dream SMP[]
Tommy first met Ranboo on his first day on the server, initially making a bad impression but later finding common ground. During Ranboo's second day, the two griefed George's house, and during his trial, Tommy refused to say that Ranboo had any involvement in the grieving, protecting him from being prosecuted. This act won Ranboo's loyalty to Tommy.
After the L'Manberg cabinet accused Tommy of being selfish, Ranboo stepped in and confessed his guilt in order to defend Tommy's character. Ranboo then privately assured Tommy that he would stick by his side and tried to comfort Tommy while his exile was being decided. Tommy appreciated the gesture, allowing him to sit on the bench with him.
During exile, Ranboo maintained his loyalty. Throughout Tommy's exile, Ranboo remained supportive and was one of the two people who Tommy continued to call a friend. Ranboo often supported Tommy, and the two had a mailbox where they could communicate with each other often in unsigned books. Ranboo attempted to convince Tommy that he had been manipulated by Dream, but the manipulation overpowered their relationship. As a result, Tommy started seeing Ranboo in a negative light. After Tommy left to join Techno, Ranboo explained his loyalty to Tommy, restoring their relationship.
When Tommy was revived and got out of the prison, Ranboo was shocked but didn't ask too many questions about him being alive again. Tommy was overwhelmed and considered Ranboo to be pressuring him into talking. He disapproved of Tubbo and Ranboo's marriage because he felt that Tubbo was trying to replace him, and therefore made arguments that Ranboo was manipulative towards Tubbo.
When visiting Snowchester, he asked to visit MICHAEL, Ranboo, and Tubbo's son. Upon meeting him, he asked if he could 'pat' MICHAEL, at which Ranboo and Tubbo replied no. He then asked if MICHAEL was the only reason they were together and it seemed like he was considering killing Michael, but Tubbo and Ranboo warned that they would kill Tommy if he did so. Tommy and Ranboo then went on a trip together to rescue Henry and Friend from Dream's vault.
While Tommy was preparing for breaking into Pandora's Vault, he thanked Ranboo for helping him and hugged him. He then shortly after admitted to Tubbo that despite his jealousy about their marriage, he liked Ranboo a lot and appreciated the fact that he had always been there for him.
Right after Wilbur's resurrection, Ranboo expressed frustration towards Tommy, but later clarified that he didn't blame Tommy for the fact that Wilbur had returned.
Tommy refused to let Wilbur be alone with Ranboo and acted protectively whenever Wilbur tried to antagonize him. He also stated that he was fond of Ranboo, claiming that "Ranboo isn't a bad guy".

Fanon[]
The friendship wasn't that popular at first since Ranboo supposedly "stole Tubbo" from Tommy. However, it became more popular after they made up and the Bench Trio was formed. While a lot of fans were upset about Tommy being jealous, a portion of fans acknowledged that Ranboo and Tommy were likely friends and Tommy was just acting. While the fact was acknowledged, people still liked the development between Tommy and Ranboo, especially in the Dream SMP roleplay. The two are also considered as the "protagonists" of the Dream SMP by fans because of how much they affect the SMP.
The romantic ship is disliked by many since Tommy has said he is straight and uncomfortable with shipping. Though after Tommy got more comfortable around Ranboo and made somewhat flirtatious jokes, the friendship between the two started to get more attention. One of the first instances of this was when Tommy called Ranboo hot during Minecraft Championship. Much later when a lie detector vlog was posted, the idea of Tommy being gay or attracted to Ranboo started being noticed by Tommy and Ranboo along with their fans. Tommy has flirted with Ranboo more, which left some fans genuinely question whether Tommy and Ranboo were dating or not. This could be because of the Love or Host featuring Tommy. Ranboo himself has even pointed out Tommy's flirting by saying, "Why do you do this to me just to flirt later. Keep it consistent at least." Tommy revealed that he had a girlfriend, so many people had more reason to dislike romantic Allium Duo. Tommy joked that his girlfriend was "the girl version of Ranboo" since she was similar to Ranboo.
The friendship is called Allium Duo since Ranboo tried to give Tommy an allium flower but ended up punching him, though Tommy still kept the flower. It's also called the Awkward Duo since they were very awkward with each other at first and it's called the Loyal Duo since they're both loyal to those they care about. On Twitter, people are a part of "alliumtwt," a subtwt in which people are interested in the Allium Duo. It's also called "awkwardtwt" or "loyaltwt" because of their other duo names. The Tumblr counterpart is called "alliumblr", "awkwardblr" or "loyalblr", though "alliumblr" is most commonly used.
