Alonzopounce is the slash ship between Alonzo and Pouncival from the Cats fandom.

In the 98 film, Alonzo and Pouncival lie near each other as they wait for Old Deuteronomy's arrival. During "The Song of the Jellicles", Alonzo returns to the stage, with Pouncival running from the other side to finish singing his line. He then stays behind Alonzo, but steps away once Jemima and Victoria acknowledge Alonzo. Alonzo and Jemima stepping aside to join Pouncival for a bit. They then dance beside each other, before all the cats scatter into their new spots. During the "Jellicle Ball", Pouncival joins Alonzo and Mistoffelees for the "Tours". Dancing behind Alonzo as he messes with Bombalurina. They continue their dance, till Tumblebrutus cartwheels out, messing up their momentum. Alonzo scolds him for this, with Pouncival backing up, when Tumblebrutus ends up joining them. Pouncival then runs to Alonzo's side and they dance next to each other for the "hip wrenches" and the "sixes". Just before "Moments of Hapiness", Pouncival runs past Alonzo to greet Gus, Alonzo trailing behind. They then lie by each other during "Moments of Hapiness", separating when it's Gus' turn to sing.

Alonzopounce is a rarepair in the Cats fandom. Mostly due to their limited interactions across various productions. Some believe that the two may be related, with Alonzo as Pouncival's protective older brother. This is due to the two having similar patchwork make up and leotard designs. It is also paired with the idea that they are either the sons of Asparagus or Bustopher Jones. Fans who do ship it see it as more of an "Opposite's Attract" kind of couple. With Alonzo being more serious, while Pouncival is much more playful. Others like the idea of Pounce having a kittenhood crush on Alonzo.
