Altugger is the slash ship between Rum Tum Tugger and Alonzo from the Cats fandom.

Alozno and Tugger don't have any major interactions throughout the show. Though some productions they do interact more. They are both rather flirty though, and will often both hit on the other Jellicles. Depending on the production, Alozon will often be the one to call Tugger a "terrrible bore" during his number. In productions based on the Broadway revival, Tugger will take a swing at Alozo. Though he will miss as Alozo drops before he can make contact. In a show for the Vienna Revival Tugger caresses Alonzo's face at one point^[1]. They also dance in the same group during the Jellicle Ball.

Tugglonzo is a rarepair in the Cats fandom. This is due to their limited interactions throughout the show, and the two being more often shipped with other characters. It is the rival ship for Casslonzo, Alonzostrap and Tuggoffelees. Despite their differences, the ship is not considered and opposite's attract kind of ship. Mostly due to them being pretty similar. Alonzo just happens to be more responsible and helps lead the tribe alongside Munkustrap.

Fans of the ship often depict the two as butting heads from time to time. Or having a more "pulling pigtails" kind of relationship. Often believing that they acted very childish and that they didn't like each other before getting together. Some will depict it as Alonzo being the one who was more often annoyed, while Tugger just relentlessly flirted. Alozno often seeing Tugger as his friends annoying younger brother, and not an actual potential partner. On AO3, there are currently 6 written works.
