Amajime is the slash ship between Hajime Hinata and Rantaro Amami from the Danganronpa fandom.
Canon[]
Hajime is a character in Super Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair, and Rantaro is a character from Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony. As such, the characters do not share a "canon" and do not interact. Additionally, Rantaro is canonically deceased. As they come from different games in the franchise, they would be considered a crossover ship, or a cross-game ship. In the world of Danganronpa V3, Hajime is a fictional character so he and Rantaro could never truly meet.
They do not interact with each other in the non-canonical installments, Ultimate Talent Development Plan and Danganronpa S: Ultimate Summer Camp. Still, the characters would have attended Hope's Peak Academy together in this alternate universe. Despite not interacting, the characters do share a number of similarities. Appearance wise, they both have green as one their primary colours. Alongside Kyoko Kirigiri, Hajime and Rantaro are both known temporarily as the "Ultimate ???". While it is revealed in the end that Hajime does not possess an Ultimate talent, Rantaro is revealed to be the Ultimate Adventurer and the Ultimate Survivor.
While Rantaro does not survive the Killing Game in V3, he is a survivor from season 52. Hajime is also a survivor of his respective game. As Izuru Kamukura, Hajime also participated in The Tragedy of Hope's Peak Academy Killing Game. As such, Rantaro and Hajime are the only known characters to participate in two separate killing games. This might prove that they are both good strategists, or perhaps simply both have luck on their side.
Fanon[]
Although not widely recognized in the fandom, the community that supports this ship is notably enthusiastic. Despite its relative obscurity, the ship maintains an active following, albeit facing challenges as a cross-game pairing involving characters already engaged in popular relationships. The primary driving factors behind the ship include a shared voice actor and limited information about their talents.
Many shippers envision these two characters navigating the same killing game, forming a close bond as they collaborate to uncover their respective talents. The dynamic is often perceived as a familial connection, with fans likening to view them as son-and-father and parental figures within the context of the ship being the very popular ship Komahina.
