Amalia x Elena is the femslash ship between Amalia and Elena Chavez from the Marvel fandom.

Amalia and Elena are from the Utopian Parallel, a paradise dimension that existed outside of the regular Multiverse. The Utopian Parallel was inhabited by women only, and they had the supernatural ability to reproduce even when mating among themselves. Elena and Amalia fell in love with each other while on active duty to preserve their corner of the Utopian Parallel. They got married, and soon after they had a daughter, America. They raised their daughter with all the love they were capable of, teaching her everything they knew about her abilities that promised to surpass even their own. They didn't have as many years together as they hoped to have, as black holes started appearing everywhere, threatening the very existence of the Utopian Parallel. The two of them tried to save their home dimension, but they got sucked in by the black holes.
All of this, however, was the way in which America processed her trauma. The truth was that Elena was a pathologist, while her wife Amalia was a microbiologist. The two of them were doctors and scientists, and lived in the Bronx with her two daughters, America and Catalina. Their entire world came apart the moment America was diagnosed with Edges Syndrome, a lethal genetic disease. They started researching an impossible cure, but they were alone and without resources. Luckily, they were contacted by Mr. Gales, an eccentric millionaire with a private island off the coast of Long Island, hosting an advanced laboratory named the Utopian Parallel. Gales wanted to finance the doctors’ research, and welcomed them and their girls to his facility. Gales’ secret was the Starling Chamber, an artificial window on a pocket dimension that could host both America and Catalina, keeping them alive and well with its inherent natural energies, giving Elena and Amalia time and data to study a permanent cure. Initially resistant to accept the millionaire's offer, the two women were eventually convinced when they realized that the future of both their daughters was at stake.
Only after two years of research, Elena and Amalia realized that Gales had been willfully exposing their girls to the alien dimension to imbue them with interdimensional powers he wanted to monetize. They decided to escape, but Gales’ security stood before them. As Amalia died in the explosion she used to destroy the Starling Chamber and free her daughters, Elena brought them away from the lab, only to be shot by Gales himself. The girls, however, disappeared in a star-shaped portal, enough for Elena to die happy, knowing that America and Catalina were safe and capable of protecting themselves.

Amalia x Elena is a rare pair in the Marvel fandom. This is due to the fact that the two characters are side characters that appear only once, from afar, for a few seconds, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the most famous iteration of the Marvel franchise. When this version of the ship appeared in the Dr. Strange movie universe, the ship received a lot of homophobic harassment and was even threatened to be censored from the movie in different countries who censor anything LGBT+ related. However, even the actors and actresses of the movie came in its defence. For example, actor Benedict Wong described online trolls as “cowards”, and praised the movie for “radiating representation."[1] On AO3, there are currently 2 written works.
