Amalissa is the femslash ship between Melissa Chase and Amanda Lopez in the Milo Murphy's Law fandom.

Overview[]
Amanda and Melissa are kind of frenemies with each other, being over-competitive fighters, who are at each others throats at times, but still mostly bonding with each other, due to their mutual friendships with Milo Murphy and Zack Underwood. Although they bicker from time to time, generally trying to one-up each other, they realize that both of them are twice as powerful, when they work together as a team.
Season 1[]
In "Going the Extra Milo", Melissa if anyone wanted to place food bets on Milo and Zack making it to school on time. Amanda overheard this and bet her gummy licorice on them not making it on time.
In "Party of Peril", Melissa invited Amanda to Milo's surprise birthday party but she declined, as she was a huge fan of order and wasn't interested in getting involved with Milo's chaos. Melissa told Amanda that there would be various different sizes, shapes, and colors of decorations such as streamers and balloons that would be completely unkempt without her but this didn't seem to matter to her. Amanda was driven crazy by this and snatched up that invitation, assigning herself to be the party manager. Amanda told Melissa that she'd better not thing she doesn't know what she did just there.
In "Smooth Opera-tor", Amanda was worried about the opera they were watching getting out of hand. Melissa kept her calm by reminding her of her yoga mantras. Zack left Amanda and Melissa alone together so that he could go check on Milo. When Amanda started noticing things going awry with the pay, Melissa told her to breathe in and out. Kind of irritated, Amanda told Melissa not to "yoga" her. Melissa "yoga"-ed her anyway and rubbed Amanda's temples, telling her that she was a calm blue ocean. Ultimately, Milo broke the entire stage down in destruction and Amanda was paralyzed in shock. Melissa waved her hand in her face to try and bring her back to consciousness but she was gone.
In "School Dance", Melissa was proud of Amanda for hosting the entire school dance all by herself. She counted down the seconds to Amanda's panic, when she noticed that some destruction was imminent. Amanda later entrusted Melissa to work with coat check-in, while she went to take care of Milo's trail of destruction.
Season 2[]
In "Picture Day", Melissa asked Amanda if any camera would work as a substitute for the official camera that was just destroyed and Amanda confirmed that it would be acceptable, just as long as it was formatted properly and included the proper library backdrop.
In "Ride Along Little Doggie", Melissa mentioned that she was nominated for the winter awards for "Most Tolerant Friend", which Amanda thought was a joke. Melissa narrowed her eyes at Amanda and told her not to try her patience.
In "The Mid-Afternoon Snack Club", Amanda gave Melissa a makeover to make her look just like herself. Melissa just looked at herself in the mirror and wasn't too pleased with the results.
In "Parks and Wreck", Amanda got into an impromptu contest with Melissa, where they both tired to one-up each other, based on their accomplishments, which got in the way of them trying to fix up Hamilton H. County Park. Melissa cleaned the right side of the park, while Amanda cleaned the left, both trying to see who could do a better job at cleaning. The two girls were at each others' throats and their determination to one-up each other, led to their own downfall, as they would get into a tug of war over the garden hose, which sprayed all of their hard work and destroyed all of their hard work. They realized they were being over competitive and needed to stop fighting and work together to fix the park. When they did this, they fixed everything up big time.

Amalissa is a common ship in the fandom, with many of their supporters liking the idea of the two girls getting together as girlfriends. They've had somewhat limited on-screen interactions together but people like their spicy and vitriolic companionship, thinking it would make kind of a nice dynamic if they were dating. It has three stories on AO3. Rival ships are Milanda and Zalissa.
