Ambette is the femslash ship between Amber and Colette from the Brawl Stars fandom.
Canon[]
Amber and Colette are young-looking female playable characters in Brawl Stars and, depending on the player's choices, can face off or cooperate in online modes. They don't interact directly in the game. However, in the 2020 Brawl-O-Ween animation made by Supercell, Colette in her demonic skin can be seen intently watching Amber's show while smiling. Although when the fire breather fails to light the flame, the other girl's attention focuses on Barley. In addition, according to the character description, Colette has a strong fanaticism for all brawlers, including Amber.
They share several similarities. They prove to be happy and energetic women related to their passion: Brawlers in Collete's case and fire in Amber's case. Likewise, they both tend/work at a business within Starr Park: Amber works at her entertainment position as a fire eater and Colette is an employee in the gift shop. In-game, they have moderate health, super high attack range, normal movement speed, and moderate attack.
Despite their similarities, they have notable differences. Amber loves fire, but controls her behavior and personality when interacting with other characters, while Colette's obsession with brawlers leads her to have obsessive/creepy attitudes towards them. In-game, both deal moderate damage initially, but Amber can raise the damage by holding down the main attack button. On the other hand, Colette's damage decreases when the opponent's health is lower.
Fanon[]
Ambette is a rare ship in the Brawl Stars fandom. Amber was added to the game in the October 2020 update, a month after the Starr Park update that would introduce Colette. For this reason, a small portion of people began to pair them romantically. This little fandom was reinforced and increased after the launch of the Brawl-O-Ween animation where Colette contemplates Amber's show with a dark smile. Likewise, the duo's creation of fan arts on social networks such as Twitter attracted more public attention.
In the fanfictions, they both have a healthy and understanding couple dynamic. A popular scenario to see in stories is one where Amber is the new character in the game, which is represented as a town or city, and Colette is extremely curious about her. Therefore, she tries to get closer and be more affectionate with the Mexican girl, although her way of being scares her a little. Another recurring scenario involves Colette helping Amber with her entertainment business and providing emotional support when the fire-breathing show goes wrong.
