Angel is a character from the Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel fandoms.

Character

Born as Liam in Galway, Ireland in 1727, he was sired by the vampire, Darla, in 1753. They became lovers and Liam took on the moniker, "Angelus." He quickly becomes the most infamously evil vampire in European history. In the late 19th century, a curse was placed upon him, granting Angel a soul, tormenting him for a century until he falls in love with the slayer, Buffy Summers and finds purpose.

He moves to Los Angeles and seeks redemption via his endeavors with "Angel Investigations" and becomes a hero and Champion for good.
