Annis is the het ship between Chris Griffin and Anna from the Family Guy fandom.

Anna only appeared in the episode, "Long John Peter'", where she worked at the receptionist desk for the Quahog Veterinary Clinic. Chris saw just how beautiful she looked and it was love at first sight, making him fall so smitten that he sang "Crazy For You". Chris went up to her desk and started talking to her, saying a few stupid things and failing to control his volume. Anna found Chris funny and flirted with him, saying that the girls must find him attractive at his school. Chris told Anna that the only girl who talks to him is his siter, Meg and she sucks. Anna told Chris that if he's interested, she'd like to go out with him sometime and Chris agreed to a date.

For their first date, Chris and Anna went to an Italian restaurant and had a discussion about work. Chris panicked on his date and asked her stupid questions like how she's liking her appetizer that hasn't come yet or if she had sex with any of the dogs. Anna looked puzzled at Chris here and Chris tried to change the subject to just asking her what she's interested in. Anna told him that he likes the music that black people have been coming up with, which just made Chris sigh and admit that he's incredibly nervous on his date here. He told her that he's worried that if he opens up to her, she's going to see who he really is and not like him for it. Anna calmed Chris down with a kiss and tells him to just calm down and be himself, since this is the best thing he can do.

Chris went to Peter and the guys about some advice on sex, hoping to someday go to that level in his relationship with Anna. Joe tried to give him some advice on sex but Chris rejected it, not wanting to take sex advice from a cripple.

For their second date, Anna came to Chris' house and watched TV with him. When she got up to leave, she accidentally spilled soda on his carpet and Chris told her not to worry about it and assured her that he'll clean it up. After Anna left, Peter entered to see Chris cleaning the floor and scolded him for being a man, cleaning up a woman's mess. Chris didn't see the issue with this until Peter explained to Chris that if he's really serious about having sex with Anna, he's going to have to start treating her like crap, as this is the only way to get a woman to have sex with him and Chris stupidly believed him.

For their third date, which is the date where Chris was hoping to have sex with Anna, they went to the movies, where Chris acted kind of cold and aloof. Chris called Anna a bitch who needed to do everything he said and then threw her tickets onto the ground, demanding she pick it up and either cook it into dinner or knit it into a scarf. Anna burst into tears, crying and calling Chris a jerk for everything he said to her. Chris asked Anna if they could make out and Anna broke up with him, running away, crying.

Chris talked to Lois about what happened and Lois was very pissed off with Peter for messing with Chris' relationship with Anna like this. She told Chris that the best thing to do in this situation would be to go down to the veterinarian and tell her the truth. However, Chris couldn't go down there unless he had a sick or injured animal, prompting him to slam Brian in the face with a wooden chair.

At the vet, Chris came up to Anna again with his mutilated dog. Anna told Chris that she wasn't interested in helping Chris and suggested he go to another vet. Chris admitted that he wasn't interested in nursing his dog back to health and really just wanted to apologize for how he acted. He explained to her that he never had a girlfriend before and was worried about messing things up with her so he took some bad advice from his dad on how to treat women. He complimented her beautiful appearance and she was swayed by his heartfelt apology and kind words. Anna and Chris proceeded to kiss and Anna told Chris that she gets off at 4:00 and that she'd be up for a movie. The two of them walked away together, holding hands, leaving Brian's mutilated body lying on the ground and bleeding out.

Despite only appearing in one episode, fans really liked the relationship between Chris and Anna and how well-executed it was in the show. Fans are pleasantly surprised with wholesome their relationship was in a show like Family Guy, especially given how their relationship ended on such a positive note. At the same time, these fans were disappointed with the way Anna never showed up again, wishing that her story with Chris would have continued or at the very least been given the satisfaction of knowing why they had stopped dating, as seen in this reddit post for example. Some fans have even gone as far as to make their own Family Guy fan expansions, in which Anna becomes a recurring character and we see more of her and Chris' relationship.
