Appledust is the slash ship between Angel Dust and Lucifer Morningstar from the Hazbin Hotel fandom.

Season 1[]
Dad Beat Dad[]
When Charlie is talking about Lucifer coming over to the hotel, Angel Dust seemed excited, stating he'd like to meet the "big dick in charge." When Lucifer arrived, Angel became more flirty, calling Lucifer "short king." when Lucifer looks around, he seems a bit distressed to see Angel's crotch area.
The Show Must Go On[]
Seconds after Lucifer joins in the battle between the hotel and Adam's Exorcists, Angel hears Lucifer tell Adam that he was going to f**k him and those words get Angel to raise an eyebrow. When Lucifer is singing Final, he goes up to hug Angel Dust and Cherri Bomb multiple times. Angel seems surprised, then happy to see Lucifer, hugging him back. The two then help Charlie and their shared friends to rebuild the hotel that brought them all together, as Angel sets up the beans of the building Lucifer flies by and uses his magic to add on the scaffolding. This gets Angel to smile as he watches Lucifer's magic at work beside Niffty, and making the job easier. Once the reconstruction was done, the two join the others in admiring the new Hazbin Hotel.
Fanon[]
This ship is not popular in the fandom, with the two having limited interactions in the first season. RadioApple, Lucilith, Huskerdust, and RadioDust are rivals of this ship, and tend to overshadow Appledust. Some fans can see them happening since Angel flirted with Lucifer, although Angel flirts with any guy in general. Some believe Angel does not have a crush on Lucifer because he flirts with multiple characters, while Lucifer is hinted to still love his ex-wife.
With notes on Angel's mobster father saying he is abusive towards his younger son, it got some people to wonder if Angel possibly wishes that his father was more like Lucifer. From how Lucifer was shown to love his daughter and is supportive of her relationship with Vaggie. While many see Angel's father being disapproving of his son's relationship with men, and loves his oldest son over his younger son.
Although Appledust has been caught in the middle of ship wars involving Huskerdust and RadioApple, the creation of the two poly ships, AppleHuskerDust and RadioAppleDust, has helped to provide fans of the ships with a peaceful solution. As well as helping to draw attention towards Appledust, as it gets mentioned in posts of the poly ships.
