Arson Girlfriends is the femslash ship between Slick and Joule from the Starlight Express fandom.

Act 2[]
When Slick calls Electra over, they bring all their opponents over, including Joule. Joule stands the closest to her when she tells Electra about her plan to take out Rusty. She and all the other components then tell Slick that she has an awful lot to prove, before skating off with Electra. Joule and the other components then dance back up for her as she finishes her song. Later, when Electra hires Slick to race with them for the final heat, Joule stands guard on the side as they make the exchange.

Arson Girlfriends is a smaller pairing in the StEx fandom. Mostly due to the two not having any major interactions in the show. As well as Slick only being introduced in the 2024 London Revival. The idea of the ship comes from fans seeing similarities between their roles in the show, as well as their titles. The term "Arson Girlfriends" is due to Slick causing trains to crash, and Joule being a dynamite truck. Meaning that the most likely would cause a lot of damage. Its rival ships include Freezer Burn and Slickball.
Most often in fics they are a background ship for other ships. Most often involving Electra or the other fuel trucks. Though there are a few where they are entirely the main focus. Often a component of fics or art is the other components and fuel trucks reacting to the two's relationship. With the fuel trucks often making fun of Slick for their relationship, or the other components being confused why Joule would like Slick. As well as most fics being post canon, and Joule being attracted to Slicks chaotic personality, while Slick would be attracted to Joule being more flirtations and her affinity for explosions.
On AO3, Arson Girlfriends is the third most written ship for both Slick and Joule. There are currently 10+ written works.
