AruFuro is the slash ship between Armin Arlert and Floch Forster from the Attack on Titan fandom.

Canon

Floch is shown to dislike Armin during the ceremony in honor for the fallen scouts when he was chosen to receive the titan serum instead of Erwin. It's unknown of Armin's opinion of Floch, despite this Floch is shown to not hold a strong hatred against Armin.

They first meet when Armin is shown to be dying as his body is burnt due to his sacrifice in order to distract the former Colossal Titan user, Bertolt. Not only Armin is dying but also the former Survey Corps commander, Erwin Smith as his organs were demolished from the charge against the Beast Titan which Floch was apart from and the only survivor. As Levi decides who should eat Bertolt, Floch advocated it should be Erwin, meanwhile Mikasa and Eren opposed this and thought Armin was a much better idea. Armin is chosen instead of Erwin and this leaves Floch with survivor guilt from the charge, Floch is even shown sadden and even questions Captain Levi on his choice.

During the ceremony for the fallen soldiers Armin tells Floch that he understood how much he wanted to Erwin to live, but Floch criticizes Armin for being the one chosen, with his honesty, Floch tells Armin that most of the military agreed that Erwin should've been saved instead of Armin as his survival was a mistake as written on the report for the battle. The argument continued between Floch and the scouts until it was time for the nine survivors to receive medals from Historia.

In the time skip, it's most likely that Floch doesn't hold a grudge against Armin anymore.

Fanon

The ship has mixed reactions amongst both fans of Armin and Floch due their differences. Some fans think that it was wrong for Floch to tell Armin he should've been dead in front of his face and that it breaks the relationship's potential. Others find the honesty of the statement refreshing and even think that it makes the ship more attractive, enjoying the potential of the Enemies to Lovers trope.

This ship currently rivals Eremin and Fleren, which both are very popular slash ships for the two.
