She die while giving birth to the daughter she had with Kurth, Deirdre. Deirdre inherited Major Naga holy blood from her father and a minor Loptous Holy Blood from her mother. Both Arvis and Deirdre grown up without knowing that they had a half-sibling.
Many years later, Deirdre met and married Sigurd, scion of the house of Chalphy and descendant of the Crusader Baldr. They both fall in love, and Deirdre decides to ignore the rules to leave the spirit forest and marry him. They both have a son named Seliph. At the same time, the members of Loptr Church where searching for Deirdre since she was a key part in their plan to resurrect the dark god Loptous. Some time after Seliph's birth, while Sigurd's army departed to combat the sudden violence from Agustria's King Chagall, Deirdre stayed behind in the Castle to take care of Seliph. When she heard that her husband had conquered Mandino, she left the castle to reunite with him, but before reaching Mandino she is caught by Manfroy, the leader of Loptr Church. He erased all her memories except her name, and sent her to Belhalla, where is found amnesiac by Arvis, not knowing that they were related. They fall in love and marry.
Before Deirdre and Arvis met, Kurth was assassinated by Duke Lombard of Dozel and Duke Reptor of Friege and Sigurd and his father were accused. Arvis long planned to take the power to unite the continent of Jugdral and to fight the corruptions and oppressions. He allied with Manfroy and decided to take advantage of the situation to take the power of Grannvale, he stayed by King Azmur's side, standing in as his loyal attendant. Finally, they discover that Deirdre is actually Kurth's daughter (but not her mother's identity). It's decided that after Azmur death Arvis will became emperor until that his child with Deidre became old enough to rule. On the same time Arvis heard that Sigurd's wife was missing and wandered if it was Deirdre. After fleeing at Silesse, Sigurd decides to return to Grannvale to clear his name. He fights against Lombard and Reptor at one point Arvis's army led by Aida betrays Lombard and Reptor who are finally killed by Sigurd's army. Arvis invites Sigurd to a ceremony where he could meet the king and clear his name, only for it to be a trap. Before killing Sigurd, he brings out Deirdre to know if she is truly his missing wife. Sigurd was confused and pained at seeing how Deirdre no longer remembered him, but before he could do anything, Arvis orders Deirdre to be taken back to the castle and ordered his men to execute Sigurd's army while Arvis personally murders Sigurd with his Valflame Tome. With all other major noble families of Grannvale having losing their leaders, Arvis easily took the control of the empire.
Arvis and Deirdre became respectively emperor and empress of Grannvale. Arvis investigate Deidre's past and discover that they are half-siblings. Even then, his feelings for her didn't change, and he decide to not tell her. Arvis invade all Jugdral (save Thracia who is their ally). He successfully creates a peaceful regime in Grannvale that lasted for approximately ten years. Deirdre finally gives birth to their children: two twins that they name Julius and Julia. Julia inherites a minor Fjalar holy blood from her father and a major Naga blood from her mother, for a child whose parents had the same minor holy blood inherits a major holy blood. The Loptr Church's plan was to make Deirdre and Arvis having a child together that would have a major Loptous Holy Blood since both Arvis and Deirdre had a minor one from their mother. The secret plan succeed when Julius was born with major Loptous Holy Blood. He also inherited a minor Fjalar holy blood from his father.
Some time before the beginning of the second generation, Manfroy give the tome of Loptous which make the latter possessed by Loptyr. Since Naga's tome had the power to destroy Loptyr, Julius attacks his mother and sister, who are the only one able to use it. Deirdre gives her life to warp Julia away. However, Julia loses her memory because of the traumatising event. She later meets with her maternal half-brother Seliph and join his army. Julius took the control of the empire, adopting oppressive measures in his ruling. These measures included children being hunted in order to be sacrificed to the Dark Lord, alongside the extermination of any form of resistance. Arvis loses his political power but act against the empire. He frees some children who were captured during the child hunt and entrusts the Tyrfing (the holy weapon of the crusader Baldr) into Palmark's care, intending for it to be passed to its rightful heir, Seliph. Seliph then kills Arvis to avenge his father. His last word are for Julia and Deirdre. After defeating Arvis, Seliph meet the ghosts of his parents. he informs them of his actions. Despite regaining her memory, and being at Sigurd's side, Deirdre has no hate for Arvis, and asks Seliph to help Julia and Julius, and to take care of himself, and then they leave back to the afterlife.

Fanon[]
Due to incestuous nature of Arvidre, it's a very controversial pairing despite its canonicity. A part of the fandom blame entirely Arvis for the event of the second generation and portray him as evil. However another part of the fandom consider that like Deirdre a was a victim of Manfroy's manipulation. A headcanon exists that before meeting Deirdre he planned to marry his mistress Aida. Some players consider that is Oedipus complex is part of his tragedy. The consentement of Deirdre is also controversial. Some players assume that Manfroy only erased her memory, while others think that he also brainwashed her to fall in love with Arvis. In general, players prefer Sigurdeirdre and Arvis x Aida, those ship being generally portrayed in happy timeline or modern AU. In general, Arvidre is only in fanfiction to follow the canon.
However, a small part of the fandom likes Arvidre. They ship them because they marry before knowing that they were related and that Deirdre was genuinely happy with Arvis before her death. These fanfictions often take place between the two generations before Julius's corruption. Many fans hope that if the game get a remake it will add a scene where Arvis finds Deirdre. Arvidre is also used in many memes, mainly about incest and Sigurd being left in favor of Arvis.
There is also some fans who like them as a pair of siblings. In the fanfiction that show them with a sibling relationship, they generally learn that they are relatives before marrying (sometimes, they always know their link) or they break up after learning that they were half-siblings.
