Atomblazer is the slash ship between John Constantine and Ray Palmer from the Legends of Tomorrow fandom.

Season 3[]
DADDY DARHKEST
Constantine calls Ray over, claiming to need help with the Cargo door. They walk down to the cargo bay, Ray explaining how the door works, but he really wanted to ask him about Ray's anti-magic gun. Ray tell him that he's going to put it in storage, but Constantine wants him to keep it near by. Ray is confused, and Constantine explains that they'll need it in case Sara is over taken by Mallus' power. He lights a match, Gideon telling him that smoking isn't allowed on the Waverider, before lighting a cigarette. He tells Ray he'll see him around, pats him on the shoulder, and leaves. Ray chokes on the smoke while commenting on how Constantine is cool.

MORTAL KHANBAT
While on the Waverider, Gary runs up to Ray and tells him that John is trying to leave the ship despite being on the verge of death. Ray finds him and asks what he's doing. John says there was no way he got stage four lung cancer this fast, and that someone used magic to do this. Gary asks who could have him that much and John says he's headed home to try and shorten his very long list. Ray says he can't let him leave the ship because of how sick he is, but John reminds him of who he is. Ray recognizes that he really can't stop him, but insists on coming with.

Fanon[]
Fans were looking forward to interactions between Constantine and all of the Legends. The ship was a smaller one as the two didn't share as much screen time together as the Constantine did with other characters. Those that did end up shipping it, like the small amount there was, especially Ray believing that Constantine was cool. Some also ship it due to John seemingly having a soft spot for Ray. The ship grew in popularity when John was made a regular in the following seasons and the two had a few episodes dedicated to their relationship. With many seeing the potential for the two to becoming a couple given how much Ray cared for John. As well as liking the idea of John working on himself so he could be better for a guy like Ray.
