RAIDERS OF THE LOST ART
Nate is researching while listening to loud rap music when Amaya and Ray come in in their pajamas. They yell to get his attention, him quickly turning off the music once he has it. He apologizes, Amaya pointing out that it's 3 am and Ray says that the two of them were trying to sleep. Nate gives him a look and Ray clarifies that it wasn't with each other. Amaya asks why he was up so late, and Nate says he was trying to figure out what the "Legion of Doom" wants with the amulets. Amaya questions the name, and Nate says he got from a cartoon he liked as a kid. He apologizes for waking them up again, and Ray says that they weren't together again. Amaya says that Nate already knows that, Nate agreeing with her. Amaya asks if he figured anything out, and Nate says that he carbon dated the amulet before Sara gave it back to the Legion, dating it back to 30 A.D.. Ray reads out the elements in it, and Nate pulls out a sketch he made of them from memory. He says that they don't match any artifacts on record, when Amaya offers the idea that they're the same artifact. She overlaps the papers, and Nate climbs over the desk, using Ray as a support, as he goes to look at it. He says it's the Longius Medallion.
After finding Rip, Ray walks into the library where Amaya tells him that Sara wants them to find a physical description of the spear. Nate also adds, rather slowly that she wants Ray to start trying to find a way to reverse the affects the time drive had on Rip, Gideon pulling up schematics. Ray asks how he's supposed to understand any of that, and Amaya says using one of his 4 PhD's. Ray says he doesn't have any, pausing as he does. Amaya asks what's wrong and Ray says it feels like he should have certain memories and understand, but doesn't. Nate says he's feeling the same, not understanding any of the stuff in his history book. Amaya asks how long they've been feeling this way and both say it was after they disrupted Rip's film set. She grabs a marker they took off the film set, noticing the "G. Lucas" on it. Ray feels like it's "George Lucas" and Amaya pulls up records for the guy. Nate and Ray both agree that the history feels wrong, and Amaya asks Gideon if there's a version of history where he did something else with his life. Realizing that his films were what caused Ray and Nate to follow their careers.
