Attack on Titan ships. This page is for ships with a lack of content, or for ships with minimal interactions. Please add as much content as you can to the sections below. Once a ship meets the requirements, you are welcome to create a page.
The current requirements for ship pages are:
- 20 sentences split between the canon and fanon sections, with content in both sections.
- One minimum link under the fandom section (e.g. AO3 tags, Tumblr links)
Please refrain from adding more than five images to a ship section, and refrain from adding any fan art. If you're unsure if a ship meets the requirements for a page, discuss with a member of our admin team.

YmiShin Navigation |
YmiShin[]
YmiShin is the het ship between Ymir Fritz and Shinji Ikari from the Attack on Titan and Neon Genesis Evangelion fandom.
Canon[]
Ymir Fritz and Shinji Ikari have never met in canon, as both of them are characters from different animes (Attack on Titan and Neon Genesis Evangelion).
Fanon[]
After the premiere and completion of Neon Genesis Evangelion 3.0+1.0, along with the completion of the Attack on Titan manga, great possibilities were opened for the two characters to possibly meet and live happily both in the world that was made through the anti-universe and its connections with other realities. Also, in Neon Genesis Evangelion it was confirmed (as a kind of multiverse) that one of those possible universes they live in could be the same world and the two characters can meet there and have a different future from their stories. This has led some fans of both fandoms to ship these two characters.
Fans have also noticed similaries between the two, such as:
- The two characters are used as weapons.
- They both have emotional dependence.
- Both of them are victims of emotional/physical abuse and unattended basic needs in childhood.
- Both characters are in a desperate search for love.
- Both of them feel the need to be part of something bigger.
- The two of them do everything to please the person who treats them badly or hates them, does not give them any kind of affection and only sees them as simple machines.
- Both characters would be happy with a "good job."
- They pilot a bio-mecha (the difference is that one has it attached and the other apart).
- Both get "freed" by two people at the end of what tormented them.
- No one taught them love, until a certain person taught them to have their own will.
- They don't care if they are manipulated they just want to feel loved somewhere.
