Aunt Daisy is the family ship between Daisy Duck, April Duck, May Duck, and June Duck from the Mickey Mouse and Friends and The Three Caballeros fandoms.

Canon[]

April, May, and June were originally created by Carl Barks, the cartoonist for the Duck Universe comics, to be the female counterpart of Huey, Dewey, and Louie. They made very few appearances in the comics, often limited to cameos rather than appearing for plot reasons.

Legend of the Three Caballeros[]

April, May, and June appear as recurring characters in the series, often working to help Donald reunite with Daisy.

In "No Man Is an Easter Island", the triplets tell Daisy that Donald has greatly improved himself in the time that they have spent apart. Donald goes along with their plan, and asks Daisy to join him for dinner at a number of questionable restaurants. The triplets cut in, and say that Donald told them he'd take Daisy to Chez Quackmore, which is the most expensive restaurant in town. April, May, and June follow the couple to the restaurant, and watch as Donald struggles to have a proper romantic date. They decide to dress up as a waiter, and bring over some of Daisy's favourite food. However, the date is ruined when Donald has to keep getting pulled away to help José and Panchito. Daisy eventually leaves, writing Donald a note explaining that he is undependable, which the girls later read to him. However, she does note that the service at the restaurant (provided by the triplets) was excellent.

In "Mexico à Go-Go", Daisy agrees to give Donald a second chance. However, Donald has to head to Mexico to stop Lord Felldrake. The girls tell him to deal with Felldrake, and they'll deal with Daisy. They set up a plan to use their magic mirror to pretend that Donald is on a date with Daisy. April and June stand on top of each other, wear Donald's clothing, and place the magic mirror, with Donald's face, underneath his hat. Pretending to be Donald, the girls attempt to serve Daisy tea, and then lead her in a romantic dance. However, they keep stepping on Daisy's feet, and Donald can't pay attention to their date because of the situation in Mexico. All of this eventually causes Daisy to realize that the triplets are only pretending that Donald is there. Daisy berates Donald for dragging her nieces into his scheme, and Donald helplessly points out that it was their idea, not his.

Aunt Daisy LOTTC

In "Sheldgoose Square Dance", Daisy waits for Donald at the cabana after he sets out for his "destiny" with José and Panchito. April, May, and June are surprised to find her there. She asks how long it should take for Donald to come back, and May says, "he's usually back by 5". The girls then set up on the table to try and put together a ripped up document they found in Sheldgoose's secret basement. Daisy takes one look at the document and quickly puts together five of the pieces. April is impressed by her skills, and Daisy says she used to be called "Jigsaw Daisy" because she's so good at puzzles. The girls recruit Daisy to help them put the document back together, which reveals that Donald is the true president of the New Quackmore Institute. They then see the lightning forming over Sheldgoose Manor, and look on with worry. Later, when the Caballeros are in the final fight against Felldrake and Sheldgoose, Daisy and her nieces fly in on Humphrey's back and knock Sheldgoose into a golden toilet.

Fanon[]

The characters of April, May, and June are not very well known. This means that any relationships involving them are rare and often underappreciated. They only truly came into public consciousness in the late 2010s with the release of Legend of the Three Caballeros and the finale of the DuckTales reboot. Prior to that, they had only made cameo appearances in comics and a single episode of House of Mouse. Their relationship with Daisy is not often explored, even in canon material. The girls are frequently paired up with Donald instead, as he is the more popular character. This holds true for both comics and animated television. Still, some fans enjoy delving into the relationship between Daisy and her nieces as a parallel to the much more popular Dadnald relationship.

Due to the nature of their appearance in DuckTales, with Webby Vanderquack and April being rolled into the same character, many fanworks for this relationship excludes Webby/April and focuses instead on the relationship between Daisy, May, and June.

On AO3 the relationship between Daisy and the triplets currently only has 3 works.
